Alison here, Book of My Life’s founder. I am so excited to be producing a book about my own family history, thanks to interviews with my mum. I am always astounded by the quality of old black and white photos, particularly studio images. This dapper chap is my great-grandfather, who was wonderfully photogenic with his sparkly eyes and waxed moustache. I never met him, but I feel I know him a little thanks to all the fabulous photographs he left behind.

Here’s what one of our gold or platinum books looks like naked. We embellish the Wibalin Bookram cover with gold or silver lettering for a traditional finish. We also add coloured endpapers and head and tail bands (those little ribbons at the top and bottom of the spine), which add to the luxurious look and feel of these special volumes.
