After the first bomb marathon event, SPEED OF SOUND VOL. 2 is back on Saturday 8th of July for a 16hr no stop gathering, this time it’s an exploration in the forest! 🔮

Speed of Sound is the new collaboration between Unmasked and Blackdrop Family organizations which is aiming to fuse tekno, acid core, tribe and hard techno for long hours events squatting abandoned places around London.

On this occasion we are joining forces with Conspiracy Members to propose a massive line up over two big stages, Tekno and Dark Psy! 🔥

We are so excited to return and this time hosting three artists from Desert Storm crew, Glasgow veteran rebels in tekno movement since the 90’s and with Astridakini and Heyoka coming down straight from India.

There will be magicians, fire games, led performances and psychedelic decorations all over the place.

A limited amount of tickets will be sold during next days. Better to not miss it, it might be the only forest party we are going to propose over the summer. Get your troop ready for the magic trip 🍄

We are super excited to announce a new event series in collaboration with Black Drop Family which will be organized in squatted places around London Town! 🩸

SPEED OF SOUND VOL. 1 will take place on Saturday 13th of May, the location will be always different each time it will be announced a few hours before the event starts.
Get ready to twist your mind and shake your muscles for long marathons of at least 16 hours, a weekend of high power industrial techno and assaulting tekno music! ⚔️

For those who don't know Black Drop Family, it’s a very well respected event organization in the psy and tekno London circuit, always going against the system, squatting places from 3 years now and putting them upside down with a massive and powerful sound system! 🔥

A week ago came out the mix Angulima Bushido recorded for a great neo crew and event series in Liverpool, Iniquity. It’s a 2hrs and 50 minutes podcast which best describes the sound he’s in to, packed with new killer music and some beautiful old school gems. ⛩

The first half is an obscure spaced-out atmospheric and psychedelic patterns selection, the second part straight forward heavyweight hypnotizim and groove-tunnelling cuts. 🫧

A short clip from 1hr and 20 min mix during Angulima Bushido’s latest Eudaimonia show at Mission London. Bushido tried to constantly have 3 channels on to create a full bodied sound for all the duration of the mix, definitely a challenging one. 🔮

The guest of his next instalment is a super skilled and professional artist Lee Novell aka XONO. ⛩

Lee is a person DIY with a clear vision in his mind and noble aims towards the music industry, he touches the techno industry from each angles, organizing events between London and Berlin as well as playing around Europe; carefully design and curate alongside his partner FLAWS, the sound of his gem label Platform 22 and produced music for BCCO, 01366, Canticle and Jay Clarke’s BLACKAXON imprint as well as his own label.

Also Lee runs “XONO Invites” monthly radio show on threads radio, a platform that hosted artists like Setaoc Mass, Rene Wise, Blasha & Allat, Ketch, Yant, A. Morgan, Volster, VIL, Marcelo Antonio, Bidoben, talking about their own inspirations and experiences through their careers and delivering a mix which gives the listener a full understanding of the artists art and intentions. 🫧

As always with Eudaimonia project Angulima Bushido trying to explore techno music in all its aspects, and with Xono it’s time to propose a pure rhythm straight forward hypnotic and minimalistic techno set. 🪐

Ahead of UNMASKED 7th anniversary, Angulima Bushido had the pleasure of catching up with Electrowerkz, a monumental club in the London music scene since 1987. This place has been our life formamentis and music pivotal in the last 5 years which opened our vision musically and as a human being. 🖤
It’s the oldest alternative venue in town spread on 5 different dance floors, it was the launchpad of musical careers for countless diverse bands to hone their skills ranging from Viola Beach, Aphex Twin and Gary Numan.

During our conversation, we went through where the name UNMASKED comes from, the synth pop, Italo disco and funky house Angulima Bushido background with his father and the rock psychedelic / industrial metal with his brother. ❤️‍🔥

We discussed about the importance to be yourself without any masks to attract likeminded people and create harmonious relationships.
The very important human side for me about choosing the guest locals and internationals, artists with noble aims.
How we should try to reshape the figure of the dj which is not Jesus Christ who gives indications on the salvation of the world, but is a person who is at the service of the people in front of them, at the service of those who pay them and must entertain people. And if the dj is able to add a personal and unique identity, trying to raise people's musical awareness so it starts to become an interesting challenge. 🐉

Where we take my inspiration from, following the Ancient Greek philosophy and its community conduct of life, the essence of taking the limit seriously, a dystopian surreal vision of the society because it is a constituted imaginary order (we had the confirmation) and the occult Japanese anime. ⛩

Iden­ti­fy­ing as a ‘punk tech­ni­cian,’ parrish smith is known for cre­at­ing son­ic spaces where walls are torn down, and prej­u­dices are non-existent. 🔮

With a spir­it for explo­ration and a punk men­tal­i­ty, his ethos of: “no elit­ism, no prej­u­dices, no genre,” bleeds into his raw, indus­tri­al, and yet hyp­not­ic sound. While explor­ing elec­tron­i­ca he reach­es its fur­thest lim­its, redefin­ing what is expect­ed of con­tem­po­rary techno.
