The very handsome and equally charming chap known in Embra as the cosmic keyboardist to the stars... Andy Barbour, fronts this band of originals, making us all hate him for ADDITIONAL skill on the vocals and guitar. He was also our first keyboard player, so some of you will know his face and sounds on old BW classics, like Lover and Wendy.

We're delighted to host him and the Arrows in Aberdeen for our fourth Shindig!, as usual, with your peaceful and debaucherous Windows ensuring things do not go smoothly and everyone has a despicable time.

I'm buzzing on a thick kamikaze coffee, combined with post exceptional gig glow. It's bonkers in my head right now. However, tonight I get to relax and hang out with my brother from another mother, Jazz Finger Rodger, in anticipation for the swaggeryest gig of my life tomorrow, on The Golden Hinde ship in central Smoke. Tickets are going well but there's lots left, if Friday night pulls you near the Thames, I'm the price of an exceedingly posh pint 😎 (£10). Tomorrow I get to meet some people in the flesh for the first time, that I have come to know online. I also get to see some family and friends. I get to catch up with the man who introduced me to John Martyn when I was a nervous 'bedroom songwriter', age 21.

If you are suffering with worry about the street idiocy this week, I urge you to go to a gig, any gig, a band/musician with something to say. Live music is medicine. 🤠

Hove was beautiful last night, highly recommend the Brunswick Cellar bar for intimate gigs. Crystal clear sound. Moody lights. I am awaiting the 10 ticket holders who didn’t show, getting in touch with … date confusion? I hope no bewitching went on in the BN post code last night! 10 is a lot!
