The days of still content and 1:1 posts are over.

Two months ago Instagram announced that all new video posts shorter than 15 minutes will now be shared as Reels. This means all videos uploaded will now be shared full screen and have access to the Reels editing tools. In short, Instagram has begun optimising the platform towards a full-screen video viewing experience.

“If diversity targets are used with positive intent they can be powerful devices in driving change.”

Diversity targets can feel uncomfortable because they can (and have) been used in a limiting way.

We believe that doesn't need to be the case. Head of Operations, Kate Higham teamed up with Heeral Gudka from Convergent to discuss how targets can be used for good. Heeral sheds light on how targets can drive inclusion but agrees that targets alone are not sufficient in creating an inclusive environment.
