Today, past and future Project Paradiso students will be making their way to the (the original Rock n Roll Soho hotel!) to celebrate the new, incredibly exciting partnership with and showcase the immensely successful ‘Strings’ Paradiso Film. It is set to be an amazing evening with press photos, speeches and finishing off with a screening.

We want to extend our thanks to British actor Tamer Hassan (Game of Thrones, Football Factory, The Business) who will be taking time out of his busy schedule to be there and chat with our students about their exciting futures ahead.

She has operational and administrative experience in an educational environment and has worked with young people in summer camps abroad. From live radio to fundraising, she loves throwing herself into all sorts of projects. 🎥

Thank you for all the passion, dedication and care that you’ve brought to YFA over the past two and a half years, and your tireless commitment to helping our incredible students develop and thrive. The whole YFA team salutes you and wishes you all the very best as you embark on your next chapter!! Here’s a message from Amelia:

It has been a delight and privilege to work at Young Film Academy for the last two and a half years. I feel so lucky that I was able to meet and work with so many fantastic staff and young people on a variety of projects. YFA Summer Camp is full of JOY and Project Paradiso is a dream made real. Forgive my potentially bad maths, but I think I oversaw the creation of around 150 films in my time with YFA. What an incredible amount of creative output to be a part of. I’m proud of every single student I’ve met in my time and I look forward to seeing what you all achieve. All my love.

And we must also give a warm welcome to our NEW Events & Partnerships manager, Louise McCredie. We look forward to building more creative adventures together at YFA to inspire the next generation of filmmakers!

Louise McCredie is an Event and Production Manager with over 6 years of experience in both the charity and the corporate sectors. Specialising in logistics and operations, she has worked on a variety of events of varying sizes and complexities. She has worked as a Youth and Children’s worker and mentor for the last 10 years and loves working with them to enable them to reach their full potential.🎥
