Slave To Society - Ai Invasion (12.04.24)
Slavetosociety - Ai Invasion. Release date: 12.04.24
‘Ai Invasion’ is a sonic exploration of the symbiotic relationship between humanity and technology. The wider multimedia project includes a short, immersive digital video which will be screened, exhibited and premiered as part of the release.
The video challenges viewers to question the impact of artificial intelligence on our society and the implications of our relentless pursuit of technological advancement.
The premieres and screenings of the full-length video will be announced in due course. The video will also be made available to purchase and download as an NFT upon the release date.

The full project also comprises a 4-track experimental Techno EP written and produced by Slave To Society, featuring an IDM-infused remix from hard electronica duo; Somatic Responses. Available in both physical and digital formats.
Slave To Society uses carefully designed futuristic soundscapes and atmospheric textures, layered with AI generated vocals, combined with heavy and fiercely unpredictable drum elements. Expect advanced, experimental hard techno and noise, fused with powerful low-end muscle, raging hi-hats, fragmented percussion and augmented amens. In true Slave To Society fashion, all rules and boundaries are smashed to pieces and all tracks are equally suitable for blasting through the world’s biggest club systems and rigs as they are for home listening.

Natural Selection X Skam ft. The Fear Ratio (James Ruskin & Mark Broom) (live)
Next Saturday we return to FOLD London where we join forces with Skam Records, an elusive label of mythical stature amongst the most discerning heads in the scene. Originating in Manchester in 1991 and renowned for pioneering very early advancements in experimental Electronica and IDM, Skam released some of the very first Lego Feet / Gescom (Autechre) records, as well as Boards of Canada and was closely affiliated with Sheffield giants Warp Records at this time.
Together we bring a carefully curated selection of front-line Skam & Natural Selection artists, featuring live sets from The Fear Ratio (James Ruskin - BlueprintRecords & Mark Broom), Somatic Responses and SDEM, along with DJ sets from Skam founder Andy Maddocks aka MDX and Natural Selection residents Annie Hall and T1_1SK.
The music will also be accompanied by immersive live visuals courtesy of our resident visual mastermind LIAM NOONAN aka SWARMM.

We can now finally reveal the secret guest for our 18 hour extended event at FOLD London. We bring you none other than the ultimate dance floor killer; AnD.
After many years witnessing the insanity of AnD's sets and productions, we decided the daytime hours of our 18 hour marathon rave would be the perfect setting to finally bring him to the Natural Selection front line, whilst the Sunday daylight creeps through the shutters of London's dark sanctum FOLD.
AnD needs no introduction and it is a huge honour to have him join us for this very special event.

Aeons At Play (Radial & Operator) - Live warm-up pre Natural Selection @ FOLD London
We are ecstatic to welcome back the rare collaborative live project between Radial (MORD, Audio Assault) & Operator (MORD, Natural Selection), entitled 'Aeons at Play', at our 18 hour extended party at FOLD London on 2nd Sep.
Back in February 2020 we were very proud to present the world premiere of the 'Aeons At Play' project at our party at FOLD, on a lineup consisting of Speedy J, Delta Funktionen, VC-118A, Annie Hall, Kodah & SWARMM. Since then we have worked closely with both artists, especially Operator who has featured on more of our lineups, podcast series' and has also released 2 tracks via our own imprint, with another 12" EP coming later this year. We are honoured to have formed such a close relationship with both artists and are very excited for many inevitable upcoming projects in future, including this very special live set on 2nd September.
The attached video is a recording taken of an hour long improvisational live warm up session, the day before their premiere set at Natural Selection in Feb 2020. A teaser of what is to come next month. The recording can also be watched via Youtube via the link in the comments.

A purveyor of belligerent and uncompromising Techno, Ansome has released via some of the most respected labels around such as MORD, Perc Trax and also his own imprint South London Analogue Material.
Known for his bolstering live performances and the frequent use of modular synthesisers in his productions and live performances, he is one of the primary names that comes up when the topic of modular comes up. In 2020 we had the privilege of bringing Ansome and his modular live set to the Natural Selection front line, to headline our live stream at FOLD during the pandemic. Hailing from Zagreb, Croatia, Ivna has taken her place as one of the most exciting electronic artists currently around, releasing on respected labels such as Diffuse Reality Records, 20/20 Vision Recordings, brokntoys and soon to release via our own imprint further into this year.
