Our current R&D projects include: Music and audio software for telecoms, User specific binaural headphones, Tone Zone wireless loudspeakers, Virtual reality audio content rendering, Film FX, 3D TV, teleconferencing, health and audio therapy, commercial multichannel spatial audio streaming. Understanding the maths of audio in a lab or on paper is fairly unremarkable these days, understanding the physics of sound and acoustics in the real world is quite an expertise… and when it comes to coding and developing appropriate audio software - well, that’s a specialist conundrum! The challenge is: How do you both translate a highly advanced sound concept idea to an audience and develop a user-friendly product for the commercial & domestic consumer? We believe the answer is taking what’s possible in binaural, ambisonics, psychoacoustics, VR, AR, hybrid & object based audio formats, then deploying the best methods for spatial audio production.
