A little snippet from my @howtocutit podcast telling the story of how I got into doing content creation which has led me to where I am now…
In 2017 I had a blog post, I’ve always loved media, writing etc. and so back then I would write a weekly blog post all around hair care & beauty and post this to my blog. This was a hobby for me whilst I was working in the hair industry.
Then in 2018 I first began creating my own hair tutorial videos (posting them as a 60 second square at the time, this was well before reels or TikTok existed!) and this came at a time where I couldn’t see a hair professional sharing hair tutorials online for the everyday person or providing simple hair care tips/advice, breaking it down in a way for everyone to understand
As you might know I’m a big advocate for professional products and treatments but it’s so important to maintain your hair correctly at home in between and so I saw myself and my content as connecting the dots between the 2 worlds - the ‘professional’ & the ‘consumer’

How the glide affects the curl 👇🏼
1. Straight down, 0 degree elevation for the loosest curl with a straight end
2. Diagonally out, 45 degree elevation both upwards & outwards to the side for a defined curl with a rounded end
3. Horizontally out, 90 degree elevation pulling directly outwards for the bounciest, tightest curl

come to Paris with me for 48hr with @kerastase_official ! {pr trip}
As soon as I arrived in Paris, it was straight to the salon where I was treated to a full première treatment & blow-dry/style at @hovigetoyanparis (Hovig is the global professional ambassador for Kérastase)
Then we checked into our hotel @kimptonsthonore to get ready for the evening where we then had an amazing rooftop dinner @perruche_paris the view, food and sunset were just 👌🏼👌🏼
and on day 2 we had a lab tour at the L’Oréal research & innovation centre where we got to see behind the scenes of tests & product development along with a sneaky peak of the new Elixir oil, which will be coming out in May! (in a refillable tube) 😧🙌🏼
Such a lovely couple of days & with a great group of people also 🥰
