EXTINCTION REBELLION PROTESTERS DRAGGED OFF TRAIN ROOF
Angry commuters have pulled Extinction Rebellion protesters from the top of a Tube as activists disrupted services across London.
At Canning Town station in east London dozens of commuters were seen pulling two campaigners, dressed in jacket and tie, from the top of a Jubilee Line Tube train after they unfurled a banner saying, "Business as usual = death".
The pair used a ladder to climb onto the roof, prompting an immediate reaction from commuters, including one who threw his sandwich at them. A drink was also hurled at one of them.
One Tube user reportedly shouted: "I need to get to work, I have to feed my kids."
As one of the protesters kicked a commuter to stop him from climbing up the carriage, the man managed to grab the activist's leg and pull him to the ground.
The two protesters were then seen being attacked on the platform by the campaigners before they were arrested.
WOM MAGAZINE - Extinction Rebellion Fire House Stunt Goes Wrong
Extinction Rebellion 'lose control of fake blood hose'
Climate change activists' plan to spray fake blood on the Treasury did not get off to the best start.
Extinction Rebellion protesters used a hose from an old fire engine to spray 1,800 litres liquid at the 100 year-old building, but they quickly lost control of the powerful water jet.
Protesters say they are "highlighting the inconsistency between the UK government’s insistence that the UK is a world leader in tackling climate breakdown, and the vast sums it pours into fossil fuel exploration".
The Met Police said five men and three women had been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
FOOTAGE OF JOSH HANSON MURDER PUBLISHED AT REQUEST OF HIS BRAVE FAMILY
WARNING - THIS FOOTAGE IS DISTRESSING
The brave family of Josh Hanson who was brutally murdered in London by Shane O'Brien has asked the media to publish the footage of the unprovoked attack to highlight the dangers of carrying a knife.
Entirely innocent victim Josh Hanson had gone to the RE Bar in West London with his girlfriend.
The CCTV footage released today shows O'Brien walk up to Josh in the busy bar, he is then seen pulling a knife in his right hand and hiding it behind his leg.
O'Brien then pushed Josh and slashes his neck at speed before people run away in terror as blood gushes from the wound.
He is then seen coolly walking out of the bar with his hands in his jacket pockets.
The video also shows O'Brien visit an Indian restaurant and go clothes shopping in Ashford, Kent after the horrific murder.
Criminal friends who were later convicted of drug importation helped the boxing and martial arts fan avoid authorities after he was added to both Europol and Interpol's most wanted lists, the Old Bailey heard.
O'Brien claimed he wanted only to "pretend to attack" Mr Hanson with the blade to "scare him", adding: "From the bottom of my heart, I did not mean to touch him with that blade."
But jurors saw through his lies and convicted him of murder in less than 55 minutes of deliberations.
He will be sentenced by judge Nigel Lickley QC on October 17.
After an international manhunt O'Brien was finally arrested in Romania on March 23 this year and brought back to Britain on April 5.

KNIFE CRIME THIEVES TRY TO STEAL CAR
Watch the dramatic moment knife crime thieves attempt to steal a car by robbing its keys from the owner on his own doorstep.
Ryan Walsh, 24, has told how he was jumped from behind by masked thieves who pulled up outside his home.
Ryan was walking to his front door when one of the crooks approached him with a blade and demanded the keys to his black Fiat 500 hatchback.
"I had just finished a run and was getting my bag back out of the car, and in the reflection I saw a scooter pull up behind me.
"He shouted 'give me the keys', they were still in the door. I was trying to stop him getting in the car.
"I started kicking him and ragging the keys out of the ignition. I got him out of the car and he got straight back in.
"He had a knife on him so I couldn't get too close. I hit him a few times with my water bottle and got a few digs in.
Ryan said the second person, who was still on the scooter was shouting "just do this guy".
The footage from a neighbouring property shows Ryan wrestling with his attacker as one tries to get into the vehicle - even hitting him with his water bottle.
Ryan can be seen kicking and dragging the thug from the car, before they grapple on the ground causing the crook to drop his knife.
His accomplice then picks up the blade and approaches Ryan as he is on the floor.
But at that moment the driver of a passing blue Subaru stops and neighbours come to Ryan's aid.
The pair can be seen fleeing on the moped as the Good Samaritans give chase.
Ryan suffered stab wounds to his arm, shoulder and waist, but escaped with his life and is making a recovery at home after receiving hospital treatment.

SHOCKING VIDEO SHOWS BROCKLEY CONFRONTATION BETWEEN TWO MEN ARMED WITH MACHETE AND BASEBALL BAT
A shocking video shows a confrontation between two men armed with a machete and a baseball bat in broad daylight.
It was a "frantic" afternoon in Brockley yesterday as a man was arrested for alleged firearm offences after people reported seeing a gunman with a machete.
Police were called at around 3pm to Sprules Road but a video was recorded before armed officers arrived.
The video shows a Mercedes and an Audi both parked in the road as two men with weapons attack each other’s cars.
One man is wearing a balaclava and appears to be holding a machete, which is used to strike the Audi car.
The other man, armed with a bat, appears to damage the side mirror of the Mercedes.
One witness told WOM Magazine "Before the video started recording the guy with a machete ran back and put a gun back in the car.
"He was waving it around and traffic was trying to scurry away."
The video concludes with both men returning to their cars and driving away.
"My friend saw them driving on the other side of Brockley and they were trying to ram each other off the road," the witness added.
A spokesman for the Met Police said "people were seen in possession of weapons and a firearm and a man has been arrested on suspicion of firearm offences."

A man wielding an axe chased customers through a branch of Tesco in Purley, south London.
Shoppers and staff fled as he burst through the supermarket's door waving a hatchet.
One woman can be seen in CCTV footage of the incident, ditching her trolley in an attempt to get away as a man dressed in a high-vis jacket desperately ushers everyone out.
The footage was posted on Facebook following the incident.
Police are now hunting for the unknown man, who kept the bottom half of his face covered.
“The suspect left prior to police arrival," a spokesperson for London's Metropolitan Police said.
They added: “Officers attended and were informed the man had caused damage to the store. A search of the area took place but he was not found. Enquiries are ongoing to trace him.”
