ICP MENTORING: BOOSTING YOUR IMAGE AND EMPLOYABILITY SUITABILITY!
ICP Mentoring (a division of Ideas Concepts and Products) is a newly introduced programme designed to help Jobseekers and the unemployed boost their image, online presence and profiles to enhance their suitability to get back into employment.
ICP Mentoring provides its candidates with the valuable skills and tips on affordable learning routes they can take.
ICP Mentoring is currently registered and in partnership with organisations that help people into work such as Reeds in Partnership. It has a link with the DWP through its Management /Leadership.
Under a soon to be agreed arrangement ICP Mentoring should see its Partners directly or via the DWP refer individuals they consider require the services ICP Mentoring has to offer.
ICP Mentoring will assess each candidate on an individual basis to determine their suitability and then proceed, where required, to provide bespoke tutoring/mentoring/training for each candidate and/or point them on a route that will boost the candidate’s employability profile:
ICP Mentoring services include but are not limited to:
• Provide ideal role models who have experienced circumstances similar to the referred candidates and have boosted their profiles/ made themselves more suitable for employment while on Jobseekers Allowance/Unemployed.
• Provide SME Business Letter and Social Media Content Writing Skills.
• Provide Page-Planning and Magazine/Newsletter Design training for candidates who require same.
• Provide tips on routes towards acquiring knowledge and certification for candidates who have the competence and whose employability profile would be boosted by obtaining any of the following:
- Attain Chartered Status in Public Relations (CIPR) or Management (CIM) etc.
- Become Certified and adept in Digital Marketing.
- An MBA
• Learn How to Conduct Interviews.
• Learn How to produce videos for product and personal promotion.
• Learn How to produce and design Handbills, Posters and Business Cards for SME Businesses, products and personal promotion.
• Learn how to produce Press Releases and Social Media articles.
• Learn how to set up Social Media platforms for SME, Product and Personal promotion.
ICP Mentoring can also provide bespoke training for the wards/staff of organisations (such as TMO’s and Housing Associations) where required.

DWP is the UK Government’s department among other functions responsible for managing a range of working age benefits to around 18 million claimants and customers throughout the UK. The DWP has reportedly witnessed drops in benefit claims and unemployment figures with a decrease by ‘64,000 to 1.49 million in the three months to May 2017, official figures show’. This is partially due to its successful partnership programmes with organisations with similar objectives to ICP.
WENLOCK BARN TMO is a resident-led voluntary organisation committed to working with the community of the Wenlock Barn and Windsor Terrace Estates. It is the largest Tenants Management Organisation in Hackney managing 1,474 Council Properties, and certainly one of the large TMOs in the Country. ICP leadership/management provides consultation for Wenlock Barn when/where required and has assisted in helping the organisations win numerous awards. ICP’s CEO currently sits on the Wenlock Barn TMO Board as a Volunteer.
HACKNEY COUNCIL is the local government authority for the London Borough of Hackney, London, England, one of 32 London borough councils. Hackney comprises of 19 wards, each electing three Councillors and is led by an Executive Mayor Philip Glanville. ICP currently helps Hackney with publicity via its sister publication CITY ROAD DIGEST. ICP is also in talks with the Council to provide PR training for its staff and a wider range of PR Services for the body.
