IWG visits British Ambassador to Japan
It was a pleasure to be invited to the British Ambassador to Japanâs Residence on Monday to explain about the work of the IWG and the activities we had undertaken while we were in Tokyo.
We also took the opportunity to update the Ambassador and her team on The Global Summit in Birmingham 2026 and explored ways in which we could potentially collaborate in the build-up to the event.
We look forward to continuing this discussion over the coming months.

Letâs Get Out There! What a brilliant new campaign by the This Girl Can team at Sport England.
Itâs not just about addressing gender inequality in high performance sport - it filters all the way down to grass roots sport and physical activity, including spending time outdoors.
Their latest research shows women face greater barriers to accessing, enjoying and benefitting from outdoor spaces, so the âLetâs Get Our Thereâ campaign seeks to address this and encourage women to be active outside.
You can read all about their latest campaign here.
