BREAKING: This afternoon pro-Palestinian protesters set up tents and congregated in the the Strand Campus courtyard to condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza.
One organiser provided Roar with the official demands of the protestors to KCL, including condemnation of Israeli institutions, divestment from affiliated companies, assistance to rebuild Gaza’s education sector and an expansion of Palestinian scholarships. They are demand a safeguard on the expression of pro-Palestinian speech on campus.
