Having worked in retail at Marks & Spencer for 20 years, up to Head of International Marketing, I truly believe your team is your brand. They’re your frontline storytellers. 📢
You could say the same for most other industries too, but I just mention retail as it truly is a passion I have, to help those in the sector. 🛍️
But here’s the thing, if staff morale is low, every single customer feels it too!!! Most definitely more so on the shopfloor.
If your staff are disengaged, it will result in:
Poor customer experiences ☹️, Missed opportunities 📉 and High turnover of people 🔁, which we all know can be a very costly matter.
Oh, and let alone how hard it is to find the right people and then have to invest in training them from scratch too!!
