The Princess of Wales has given a personal update on her treatment and recovery in a video in which she features, together with the Prince of Wales and their children. The video was filmed by Will Warr last month in Norfolk.
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCESS OF WALES
'As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.
'The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.
'The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.
'With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.
'This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.
'Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.
'I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.
'Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.
'William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling.
'To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.'

PRINCE WILLIAM AND THE ROYAL FOUNDATION LAUNCH UK-WIDE PROGRAMME TO END HOMELESSNESS
• Homewards to see Prince William and The Royal Foundation partner with six locations across the UK in five-year commitment to demonstrate that homelessness can be ended
• Ambition to unlock unprecedented partnerships and boost understanding of homelessness in the country, creating a tried and tested model that can be scaled across the UK and beyond
• Programme launches alongside research suggesting that one in five of the UK public have some experience of homelessness
Prince William will today launch Homewards, a five-year locally led programme which will demonstrate that together it is possible to end homelessness: making it rare, brief, and unrepeated.
Homewards will take a transformative approach to the issue of homelessness and put collaboration at its heart, giving six flagship locations new space, tools, and relationships to showcase what can be achieved through a collective effort focused on preventing homelessness in their areas. The six locations will be gradually unveiled by Prince William as he embarks on a UK tour which will take place over the next two days (Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th June), starting in London.
Prince William said: “In a modern and progressive society, everyone should have a safe and secure home, be treated with dignity and given the support they need.
“Through Homewards, I want to make this a reality and over the next five years, give people across the UK hope that homelessness can be prevented when we collaborate.
“I am fortunate to have seen first-hand the tireless work of people and organisations across the sector, the tangible impact their efforts can have and what can be done when communities are able to focus on preventing homelessness, rather than managing it.
“It's a big task, but I firmly believe that by working together it is possible to make homelessness rare, brief, and unrepeated and I am very much looking forward t

PRINCE WILLIAM, HARRY KANE AND DECLAN RICE OPEN UP ON MENTAL HEALTH IN NEW COPA90 "GAME OF 5'S" SPECIAL
____________________
His Royal Highness Prince William, along with England World Cup hopefuls Harry Kane and Declan Rice, have collaborated with football media company COPA90 and The Royal Foundation to produce a special episode of the popular “Game of 5s” show.
Ahead of the FIFA World Cup, Prince William shares the mic with England and Spurs striker Harry Kane, along with West Ham captain and England midfielder Declan Rice in an honest, open and authentic conversation around the importance of supporting our mental wellbeing.
Touching on their own personal journeys, the episode uses different footballing memories from the trio as a springboard to delve into experiences of the highs and lows of life as professionals and as fans. Hosted by Kelvyn Quagraine, the episode covers topics from playing at academy level to the extreme pressures of the international stage and dealing with heart-breaking disappointment.
This film aims to show that we can all face challenges to our mental health, from those at the top of their game to the fans in the terraces. But through shared interests and common ground, speaking about it doesn’t have to be difficult or lonely - it can be an everyday topic that we talk openly about in our day to day lives.
This has been the ethos behind Prince William’s work with The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales to change the conversation on mental health and ensure that support is available to everyone that needs it and is the reason he took part in the show.
He also takes the opportunity to highlight the work of Shout, the free and confidential 24/7 text messaging support service that provides someone to turn to when people may be struggling. Shout has recently partnered with the Harry Kane Foundation on a national outdoor awareness campaign featuring Harry promoting Shout’s 24/7 text messaging support servic

THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE HEARS FROM THOSE AFFECTED BY THE AUSTRALIAN FLOODS
Yesterday the Duke of Cambridge spoke to emergency responders and residents who have been impacted by the severe flooding that has devastated the east coast of Australia in recent months. His Royal Highness heard first-hand about the impact of the flooding, the experiences of emergency responders on the frontline and how local communities are being rebuilt.
Those on the call included:
Mr Chris Binge, a local Indigenous leader from Cabbage Tree Island, the 200 residents of which were forced to relocate due to the flooding;
Mr Ashley Slapp, commander of the local State Emergency Services unit who conducted over 150 rescue missions during the major floods in late February;
Ms Jeanette Wilkins, principal from a local primary school which was one of the hardest hit schools during the floods; and
Mr Ben Brown a local business owner who worked with his staff to support other local business owners and provide meals to emergency responders and volunteers.
The Duke heard the personal reflections of each of those on the call about the past few months and the unique challenges they faced in coping with, responding to and starting to rebuild after the floods, which are considered to be the worst since 2011.
Ashley Slapp spoke about the incredible efforts of his small team of emergency responders, saying:
“The team was phenomenally good. They worked while their own houses were going underwater. I asked them to stop on day 4 or 5 and said to them they needed a rest day, and their answer was ‘I can’t stop, I’ll think about what I’ve lost’. So they kept going for the full 8 days themselves.”
Throughout the call, it was clear that the speed and scale of these floods were unprecedented, with stories from all those on the call illustrating just how quickly the water took over.
The mental health impact has also been significant, with Jeanette Wilkins saying:
“We’ve lost our schoo
