The Smart Parrot

A guy walks into a pet store and sees a parrot for sale. The sign says, "Parrot can speak five languages!"

Impressed, he asks the store owner, "Can this parrot really speak five languages?"

"Sure can," says the owner. "He can speak English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian."

Amazed, the guy buys the parrot and takes it home. A few days later, he decides to test the bird’s language skills.

"Parrot," he says, "say something in French."

The parrot looks at him blankly and says nothing.

"How about Spanish?" Still no response.

"German? Italian?" Nothing.

Frustrated, the guy takes the parrot back to the store. "This parrot is a scam! It doesn’t speak any languages!"

The owner looks at the parrot and sighs. "Well, I guess he’s gone silent again. He always does that when he’s thinking."

"Thinking about what?" the guy asks.

The owner shrugs, "Probably trying to figure out how to get out of this place and finally go on that vacation he’s been talking about."

The Magic Sandals

A man walks into a secondhand shop and finds a strange pair of sandals. The shopkeeper says, "Those are magic sandals. If you wear them, you can ask for anything, and it will come true."

Skeptical but intrigued, the man buys the sandals and puts them on immediately. "I wish I were rich!" he says.

Suddenly, his clothes turn into a fancy suit, and his wallet fills with money. Astonished, he decides to test it further. "I wish I had a mansion!"

A huge mansion appears outside the shop. The man is ecstatic. He can't believe his luck.

But then, as he walks out, he trips on the curb and the sandals fly off his feet. Instantly, everything vanishes—his suit, his money, and the mansion.

The man goes back to the shopkeeper and says, "These sandals are useless! The moment they come off, everything disappears!"

The shopkeeper nods and says, "Well, you didn’t ask for magic socks too, did you?"

A farmer was having trouble with one of his cows. No matter what he did, the cow wouldn't produce milk. He tried feeding it more, talking to it nicely, even hiring a vet to check if something was wrong.

Frustrated, the farmer turns to his neighbor and says, "This cow is impossible! It won’t give me any milk, but when the vet comes, she says everything’s fine."

The neighbor thinks for a moment and says, "Have you tried making her invisible?"

The farmer blinks in confusion. "Invisible? How’s that going to help?"

"Well," the neighbor explains, "everyone knows that an invisible cow can't be seen, but you sure can hear its moooo!"

The farmer stares, speechless. "That doesn't even make sense!"

"Exactly," says the neighbor, "and that’s why it’s funny!"

The Golfing Genie

A man is playing golf alone when he hits a ball into the woods. As he’s looking for it, he stumbles upon an old, dusty lamp. Curious, he rubs it, and out pops a genie.

The genie says, "I’ll grant you one wish, but there’s a catch. Whatever you wish for, your worst enemy gets double."

The man thinks for a moment and then says, "Okay, I wish for a million dollars."

"Done," says the genie, "but your worst enemy just got two million dollars."

The man shrugs and says, "That’s fine. Now, I wish for a mansion."

"Granted, but your enemy now has two mansions," the genie says.

The man smiles and says, "For my last wish, I want you to scare me half to death."

The Talking Dog

One day, a man sees a sign in front of a house: "Talking Dog for Sale." Intrigued, he knocks on the door and asks the owner, "Is it true you have a talking dog?"

The owner replies, "Yep, he's in the backyard."

So the man walks into the backyard, and sure enough, there's a dog just sitting there. The man says, "So, you can talk?"

"Sure can," the dog replies.

The man is amazed. "What's your story?"

The dog says, "Well, I discovered I could talk when I was young. I wanted to help the world, so I joined the CIA. I traveled around the world, eavesdropping on conversations, gathering secrets. I was a spy! But after a while, I got tired of the danger and retired. Now, I just live here."

Astonished, the man goes back to the owner and asks, "How much for the dog?"

The owner says, "Ten bucks."

"Ten bucks? Why so cheap for a talking dog?"

The owner shrugs and says, "Because he’s a liar. He never did any of that stuff."

The Genius Doctor

A man walks into a doctor’s office, holding his chest. He says, "Doctor, you have to help me. I think I’m dying! Every time I touch my head, it hurts. When I touch my chest, it hurts. And when I touch my arm, it hurts. It doesn’t matter where I touch, I’m in pain!"

The doctor nods, examining him carefully. After a few moments, the doctor says, "I know exactly what’s wrong with you."

The man, terrified, asks, "What is it? Is it serious?"

The doctor says, "Well, your finger is broken."

The following day, the duck walks in again and asks, "Do you have any grapes?"

This time the cashier yells, "No! And if you come in here asking for grapes again, I’m going to nail your beak to the floor!"

The next day, the duck comes in and asks, "Do you have any nails?"

The cashier, puzzled, says, "No."

The duck smiles and says, "Good. Do you have any grapes?"

The Forgetful Husband

A woman is furious because her husband keeps forgetting their anniversary. She decides that this year, if he forgets, she’ll give him a piece of her mind.

Sure enough, on the morning of their anniversary, the husband says nothing. No flowers, no card, no mention at all. By lunchtime, she’s fuming.

That evening, when he gets home, she meets him at the door and says, "I want you to know that if there isn’t something in the driveway tomorrow morning that goes from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds, you’re in big trouble!"

The next morning, she looks out the window and sees... a small box in the driveway.

Confused, she goes out and opens it. Inside, there’s a bathroom scale.

The funeral is set for next Tuesday.

A guy walks into a barbershop for a haircut. As he sits down, he asks the barber, "Hey, can you cut my hair like Brad Pitt?"

The barber confidently nods, "Of course. I can make you look just like him."

After about thirty minutes of cutting, trimming, and styling, the guy looks in the mirror, only to see a completely uneven mess. He gasps, "This doesn’t look like Brad Pitt at all!"

The barber shrugs and says, "Well, I did say I could make you look like him. But hey, I never said I would!"

The dog barks, "Ruth!"
