My name is Lou Freeman, I am a local resident that has lived in Havering all my life, I have over 20 years business experience in advertising, media, sales and marketing, my portfolio consists of national, local, regional newspaper and directory advertising all over the country. When my second child started school, I was determined that I would work for myself, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to put together a community website, to help connect local residents to local businesses, I know how hard it can be for local businesses to compete against the large superstores and retail chains, and thought it would be amazing to help encourage local residents to shop locally, but at the same time the community website would need to be completely different and unique for the business and residents to have any real value.
