✅ I bought my first PC in 2016

✅ I sent numerous applications, attend interviews na di na ko binabalikan, researching and studying online by myself.

✅ I got my first client and started working from home in May 2017.

It takes time talaga, hindi po sya instant.

Kelangan din magself study and uupuan mo talaga sya by yourself.

Until now naghahanap pa din ako ng match na client sakin, dahil bihira ang good clients. So far isa lang ang current client ko na super bait sakin.

Perseverance is key. Kaya natin to.

It's been a wild few years, but I am so grateful to have this opportunity to serve my clients while being able to take care and spend time with my family. 🤎

I love being able to work from home and not have to worry about the office politics or schlepping through traffic just to get there.

I'm also thrilled that I can spend more time with my son and watch him grow up in a way that wouldn't be possible if I had to go into an office every day. 💦

And since he will be going to school next year, it means that I can work longer hours than before—without having to worry about rushing home in time for pickup!

It's hard work being a business owner, but it's worth it when you get the chance to spend quality time with your family while also doing what you love. 🥰

I have been running my own business since 2017 and I can tell you that there have been incredible highs and devastating lows. 📈📉

When you're in the thick of it, it can be hard to see how your business will ever get off the ground—but if you love what you do and believe in yourself, then every day is worth it. 🤎

It helps me think about the things that are important to me and the things that are holding me back. Keeping my goals on top of my mind constantly.

I am already planning my next vision board for next year, and my goals in the next 3 months include:

Posible, pero hindi madali.

Freelancing isn’t a ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme.

There I said it.

Bagong bahay, bagong sasakyan, expensive trips.

Lahat ‘yan possible with freelancing, but they won’t come easy.

Yes, pwede kang magkaron ng 6-figure (or even 7-figure) income monthly pero hindi overnight. Kelangan ng hard work, discipline, and right mindset.

When you see a freelancer flexing their earnings or new properties, keep in mind that they work hard for everything they have. Don’t think that they’re just sitting and waiting for money to come.

What I’m trying to say is, that the earning potential is unlimited. And you can make your dreams come true as a freelancer.

Remember, though, to manage your expectations before you take the leap. All the things you are praying for are attainable.

Looking back...working for a large company seemed like something I could never do. It felt like one of those things reserved for people who weren't just in it for the money or the prestige—people who were truly passionate about their work.

But once I was in that position, I reached a point where my job wasn't fulfilling me anymore. As much as I loved my coworkers, the work itself was leaving me tired and burned out.

So I decided to make a change—I quit my job, started working remotely from home, built my VA business and found a way to work while doing what I love.

It wasn't easy at first. Because so much of the work I do requires me to be on the computer, finding time to get up and move around enough can be challenging (and some days it just slips through the cracks). 💫

And even though getting dressed up every day is no longer part of my routine, that doesn't mean that I don't try to look nice! It's just that now instead of picking out an outfit every morning before work, I pick out an outfit before client meetings.

And you know what? It's been amazing.

Not only do I get more time with my family, but since my work is so meaningful to me, I never get tired of what I do especially if I know I am able to help my clients in their businesses, while I get the flexibility I want with my time.

It is worth 100% worth it. 💜
