SHE SOARED ON HIGH...

She soared so high, beyond the skies,
With dreams alight and smiling eyes.
Her heart, once heavy, found its wings,
Now flying free, her Soul did sing.

She danced with clouds, the stars aglow,
A radiant Soul, deep in the know.
The winds beneath her blew,
'You're limitless in all you do'.

She rose above the doubts and fears,
A beacon bright through many years.
On each flight, her spirit held,
Amid the stars, her Soul swelled.

She soared so high, so much to achieve,
A tapestry in love, she weaved.
Her path was clear, her spirit sure
Fueled by joy, her heart beat pure.

Books Save Lives….

Growing up in the midst of ‘The Troubles’ in Northern Ireland, I found solace in books. They offered me a safe place - a sanctuary - away from the crazy real world. I was a regular visitor to my town’s library and school library. I was that kid sitting up a tree with my head in a book - losing myself in adventures saved me.

Libraries are at the heart of a community and offer so much to those who need them…
