Great Britain at the Olympics – highlighting the important of the leisure industry

The Olympic athletes of Great Britain have dedicated their lives to training and are racking up the medals at Paris. Last night we witnessed the dominant performance of .hodgkinson securing Gold in last night’s 800m final, to last week eaty adding another medal to his collection. The historic successes of , , , and , to mention just a few, are also worth remembering.

What links all of these incredible athletes? They all started out at their local leisure centre.

Grassroots sports and activities at leisure centres are essential, not just in keeping our nation healthy, active and social, but also in inspiring the next generation of elite athletes.

Our client Moving Communities is helping the leisure industry maximise its impact. by providing a real-time view of local authority facility performance, with benchmarking and filtering functionality, that explores financial performance alongside understanding how effective the service is and for whom, along with its impact on local communities.

Leisure centres have been a key player in our Olympians success, long may they thrive.

Hosting Xplor Gym’s VIP Summer Party!

When we do events... we do them properly. Last week we welcomed 75 clients, partners and industry friends to the stunning Blue Marlin rooftop in Shoreditch for an Ibiza themed party by the pool. We organised some delicious cuisine from across the globe including sushi, tacos and macarons, and the soundtrack was supplied by elite DJs, including Complexion and Rudimental’s Saxophonist!

A huge thanks to everyone who came and made this a really unforgettable night, enjoy some of the snaps from the evening.

Every day counts for Neurokinex Leeds! 🕒

Our client , an award-winning, activity-based neurorehabilitation centre, specialises in the ongoing recovery of adults and children living with partial or complete paralysis. A proposed Neurokinex Leeds centre to serve clients in the North of England is in a race against time to secure the final funding needed before the opportunity is lost.

With £400,000 already raised, Neurokinex is on the brink of bringing vital rehab to those with spinal cord injuries in the North of England. But they need YOUR help to bridge the final £250,000 gap.

Boat Race Weekend!

It’s the infamous Boat Race this weekend, where the strongest rowers from Oxford and Cambridge Universities will row against each other on the 4 mile Championship Course between Putney and Mortlake to be crowned Boat Race victors.

We were thrilled to create The Boat Race Store, the official merchandise store for our client D2F, and shoot all the products for each university and The Boat Race branded merch.

Last Saturday, our longstanding client hosted its LES MILLS EXPERIENCE event at Woolwich Works in London.

This exclusive event was a celebration of strength, innovation, and partnership, showcasing the brand’s brand-new Functional Strength, SHAPES, Ceremony, and Conquer programming. Attendees were treated to exhilarating demos of BODYCOMBAT XR and DANCE VR on the META Quest 3, immersing themselves in the future of fitness technology like never before. They were also shown the exciting partnership between LES MILLS and apparel partner, .

We are proud to have played a part in bringing this event to life through targeted influencer strategies. We secured 20 incredible content creators, with a combined following over 750k across Instagram and TikTok. Here's some footage we shot for a recent brand promo video. We needed to capture some intense, close-up shots of a cyclist out in the elements, highlighting the juxtaposition of the beauty of the surroundings and the intensity of the exercise. The shot had to be performed at full speed for maximum impact and realism, with the camera able to pick up the smallest of details no camera tricks could be used to artificially enhance the shot. The shots needed to show the engagement of the muscles, the depth of the breathing, the shifting of the gears, the light dab of brakes, and all the minutiae involved in intense cycling. We filmed this on location in the beautiful South East of England countryside, with the rider following the camera car and a number of runs were done to capture a variety of angles, positions and transitions. The result was some stunning cinematic quality shots that captured the intensity and beautiful surroundings perfectly. We're incredibly proud to show this amazing cinematic brand video we created for NGX 🎥🥤 End-to-end, the project was managed by our highly-experienced team: we sourced models from our in-house agency Action Fitness Models where all the models have genuine fitness experience and expertise. Led by our skilled shoot directors with incredible attention to detail, every shot was storyboarded and choreographed to be as technically accurate as it is beautiful. Shot by our industry leading videographer, we utilised innovative techniques to create big-budget cinematic shots without incurring the associated cost.
