This week's installment of DNB Proper's Midweek Masters Series #009 comes to us from the one like DJ Ballistic. DJ Ballistic has been mixing on and off since the mid 90s messing around on mates decks and then 3 years ago decided to launch label Big And Heavy Recordings with a good mate Leks. He enjoys mixing the dark heavy side of DnB but loves all rave music. He and his label are known for big bashy beats and heavy rolling basslines championing both up and coming and established producers within the industry that you will definitely want to check out!

A little bit about Bill & Ed

Bill and Ed were brought together in 2013 by their mutual love of dnb and hip hop. They started experimenting with different sounds and techniques and soon realised they had a unique element of style and swagger to contribute to the world. Shortly after, the junglist DJ duo, Bill & Ed, was born.

They quickly gained a reputation for crushing the dancefloor by opening for acts such as Bladerunner, Saxxon, Cabin Fever UK, Bassline Smith, Liondub, Serial Killaz, Ed Solo, Quadrant, and Random Movement at various clubs, festivals, and events including the World of Drum andBass and the Winter Music Conference in Miami



With releases on many labels; In 2022 they decided to take the plunge and start up their own label called ‘Jungle Tings Audio’. Cementing their mark on the Jungle and Drum & Bass scene.
