.Ange Postecoglu HAS to mae his case to Daniel Levy that the appropriate reinforcements MUST be sourced in the January transfer window.

It could be three or four loan deals for all I care.

But personnel and appropriate personnel MUST be acquired.

And some..simply MUST go. Werner..and Richarlison preferably should make way for two decent additions to our attacking ranks.

Something needs to be done to give both Porro and Udogie more down time. That's a telling aspect of our weaknesses that is being repetitively reiterated for the last number of games.

And LCB ..simply speaks fot itself. Archie Gray has established himself as a potentially solid option in a number of positions in our backline.

But overwork and lack of rotation can only have the same effect on him as it has had on so many others in our ranks.

So..yeah. Let's see us pull out all the stops. And I still believe good common sense AND proper scouting and decision making can still save the day..or what's left of it.

We haven't even kicked a ball in the FA Cup yet. For instance.

So much left to play for. Do let's play.

.we still have options in midfield.

For actual quality, player for player I can't truly say i would match any player up against another in their position in any other Premier League team.

Our quality as a team and club SHOULD be above anyone below the bottom half of the table.

And our present status says that's just not so.

However, the quality we DO have, on any given day CAN five any Premier league team a run for their money.

And fair is fair to say we have also shown that all season.

That being said, we simply haven't been good enough when it truly mattered..more often than not.

Al our defeats have been by small margins. Bur some of those defeats have been to historically ..and in fact weaker teams. Namely Palace and Ipswich Town. And to be honest it will take some doing to live those defeats down.

Others, to Arsenal, Brighton and Chelscum perhaps should be liveable with..and may be Newcastle. But really and truly they aren't. That one goal margin of error should just not have been for varying reasons.

Chelscum and Brighton both came back from 0-2 down to take all three points. The fact that Brighton was away and Chelscum was at home doesn't make any difference . No Premier League team worth it's salt can rest easy throwing away a two goal lead. Just..Not done son.

And in all and every game, despite our also obvious defensive deficiencies through injuries the main kicker remains not taking our chances..or enough of them to at least come away with value.

And that by itself can't be a wholesale indictment against Ange Postecoglu. AngeBall is good ball and I stand by that.

However, both on the training pitch and in the transfer market Ange Postecoglu remains ultimately responsible for the players output on the pitch.

And what remains obvious is that more than most other teams, Spurs still has a waning chance at SOME honour and glory this season.

And without real and tangible excuse BESIDES money, this window Ange

Sssoo..Wassup with all my Yiddoos.

All commentators who have value to add to our conversations are wholly welcome..and all any Spurs fans of course.

So after a truly dismal run of games and results..again. we have now one win in eight games.

Ever since the heady high of dispatching Man City with aplomb..AND away at the Etihad no less.

It's been one disappointing result after another.

And our demolition of Southhampton earlier yesterday at St. Mary's was seen by some as a last ditch for Ange Postecoglu to save his job.

I don't and didn't agree. Postecoglu despite his obvious failings has done enough to acquit himself and preserve some hope and due faith in his tenure.

But to deny my obvious dissatisfaction and disappointment in his product this season would be disingenuous..at least.

That being said, all is certainly not lost for the season. Postecoglu made the point that the point away at Rangers almost guaranteed that we are through to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.

We face Manchester United in the quarter..or is that semifinals of the Carabao Cup on Thursday.

And save for the spectre of injuries that once again raised it's ugly head yesterday, those still on their feet should be fairly fresh as compared to United. Who it would seem had to pull out all the stops for the win against City in the earlier game yesterday.

Djed Spence was all but a revelation on the right wing yesterday and we will be praying he is injury free for that match. Porro and Udogie both have their concerns but we are hoping Ange Postecoglu cutting and pasting in somewhat of a patchwork quilt of players will have it covered.

Bissouma should also be available. Johnson had a later arrival and relieved Sonny and we also hope both will have some fuel for the after burners. Dom Solanke may be one of our forwards requiring rest more than any other. But based on his goal output, less minutes for him should not be devastating.

And..we still have options

.hard working guy is Solanke but not a top striker.

And with the decline of Heung Min Son the team is actually bereft of a true quality goal scorer. Let's not let Brennan Johnson's statistics blow him out of proportion.

Anyhoo..the Chelscum tomorrow..and any turn of fate that gives us a break ..like a postponement..could not be any more appreciated.

We need time to lick our wounds and let some scab form on them.

Either that we are prone to hemorrhaging more than anything else if something doesn't give.

Let's send Tottemham Hotspur some prayers and good energy..and hope that in a year this all gets sorted.

Two quality players in attack and a decent capital injection into the squad of say Β£100 m, spent well.

And we could turn this season and the whole League upside in the second half of it.

It still requires Ange Postecoglu to get a grip on what he's doing wrong both on and off the game pitch during match days.

But i think he has the experience to adjust. Whether or not he does have the intelligence remains to be seen.

But without a serious uptick in form come this time next season, we could being seeing another changing of the guard in short order.

The team is dead dog tired. Out on their feet before or after the twenty minute mark. This fatigue is the main team weakness. And something Ange has to address on the training.

The next and perhaps more telling aspect is the lack of potency and quality going forward.as well as our defensive deficiency.

Good hard working guy

@ ChatterBox...

Ok Ya Yids. Sorry to say I have been very neglectful of this group having formed it with a partner many moons back.

But yeah. Let's move on with some Spurs Chattering.

It's been a tumultuous season and in fact we are watching our Spurs looking perilously close to what is essentially a relegation battle.

Not so statistically but based on form. The same can be said for former power houses Manchester United and reigning champions Manchester City are also on the worse run for form in over ten years.

Our last major scare was under Juande Ramos in the season after we one the League Cup last. I don't know if that could be a good or bad harbinger. But the word is Ange Postecoglu's tenure in the hot seat is getting hotter faster than global warming .

I've heard fans saying a lot of pejoratives going way back to last season. And those voices have been quite loud since the beginning of the season and are also increasing in volume with every loss or dropped point we encounter.

All of that being said i may no bones about being an AngeBall fan. In full flow it's quite beautiful.

And if I'm very honest the rot that is eating away at our club has been in effect for many many years now. Poor poor poor decisions made in the transfer department and signings.

But it's also a fact that Ange isn't without fault. When we played Coventry i had to admit his performance ad manager is wanting.

And in fact he had to make adjustments to his style of play. Well beating Man City had a lot to do with that adjustment. And the failure to orchestrate any victories after that match and now culminating with our loss away to Bournemouth has many a pundit warning Ange if what may be impending doom.

I say., we've just got to weather this storm and come out with Postecglu still on board.

Top four much less the EPL is way out of reach. With so much left in the season and despite our injury crisis, there remains salvageable quality and potential for the rest of the season. Con't

πŸŽ™οΈ| Hugo Lloris on Ange Postecoglou:

β€œWhen Ange arrived, the situation was clear. The club presented to him the situation about the goalkeepers, and Vicario was brought in. So with Ange, there was never any problem. There was a cordial relationship, with respect, there was no issues.
Ange has a really good idea about football, he has his own convictions and he has made a huge amount of difference in a really short period of time. He has brought a different style of football to what we were used to in the last four or five years. Before it was more about transition, today it’s an aggressive team, about possession football and a really offensive team which the Spurs fans expect. It reminds me of the way we played with Poch.”
