SCAMS TO AVOID IN EGYPT!

SHARE YOUR TOURIST SCAMS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW!!! maryam .sidd
Scams we saw:
1. They give you a tour and agree on a price in EGYPTIAN POUNDS. Once you finish the tour- they will literally say that they agreed to the tour in US dollars. They then will say that you need to pay the guide $10-$20 extra for taking their photos and on top of that give them some ‘Baksheesh’ which is a tip 🙃 if this happens to you- run.
2. Someone will come up to you (posing as a tourist) and ask you to take their photo. As they are handing you their phone or camera- they will drop it on purpose. Then they will create chaos and ask you to pay for their phone or camera which you apparently broke. Don’t fall for this- just say no to anyone who asks you to take their photos.
3. You’ll be casually posing or taking your own photos. Someone will insist that they take your photo or your family photo. We had at least 2 people follow us insisting that they take our photos. When they take the photo- they’ll ask you to pay them 😅

The principal importance of Jeddah in history is that it constituted the port of Mecca and was thus the site where the majority of Muslim pilgrims landed while journeying to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. This will also be the starting point for our Umrah journey tomorrow.

Some information regarding Masjid Addas:

In 619, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) travelled to the town of Taif to preach and escape the persecution of the Quraysh. The town of Taif was occupied predominantly by the Thaqif tribe.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) met with the chieftains of Taif, Abd Yalil bin Amr bin Umair, and his brothers Mas'ud and Habib. They rejected Prophet Muhammad's message and sent the townspeople to throw rocks at Muhammad and chase him out of town. Prophet Muhammad was injured and attempted to seek shelter under a wall in an orchard owned by the Meccan brothers 'Utbah and Shaybah.

They instructed their slave, Addas, to offer Muhammad grapes. Prophet Muhammad pronounced bismillah over the grapes, and Addas expressed shock at this, stating the people of Arabia do not speak in this manner.

The Holy Prophet then asked him from which place he came from, and what was his religion, and he answered him, "I am a Christian from Nineveh." "From the town of the righteous man Yunus, the son of Matta" said the Holy Prophet. 'Addas was surprised and asked, "How do you know about Yunus, and who are you?" The Holy Prophet then replied, "He is my brother, he was a prophet of Allah, and I am a Prophet of Allah, too."

Addas then recognized Muhammad as a prophet and kissed his head, hands, and feet.

Welcome travel family! ✈️
We are finally visiting the side of SAUDI ARABIA we were super excited about! Today we visit a fairy tale village in the mountains called Village of Rijal Almaa and this village is located 45 km west of the city of Abha, a mountainous area bordered to the east by Al-Souda Center, and from the North Mahayel Asir province, and from the South Al-Darb province, on the west by the Red Sea. The village is more than 900 years old and has an interesting history. It's location was ideal linking people coming from Yemen and the Levant through to the Holy City of Makkah and Medina. And as a result, it became an important trade center in the Region.
In this vlog we also visit the most beautiful Honey Cottage in Rijal Almaa, a beautiful tourist attraction located on an area of ​​10 square meters. This space includes multiple seatings, including an Almaa style & heritage seating, a café , an office and a bed above it. The hut is surrounded by houses for bees🐝 to harvest honey from daily, while the hut has an internal chimney for cooking.The cottage is surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes that amaze you from the nature of the green Rijal Almaa! In the past few vlogs we have been on a complete SAUDI ARABIAN TOUR and in todays vlog- we share a secret oasis the locals love and keep a secret!
Wadi Lajab, in Jazan, is considered one of the most beautiful touristic areas in the KSA. It is a canyon infiltrated by streams, which have carved a narrow path between two large mountains. It is part of the Saudi Tihamah valleys and is considered a park for residents and visitors alike. The valley is 11 km long and water flows in its southern side. Its steep sides are as high as 300 meters in some parts. The narrow and incredibly deep valley offers some quite dramatic viewpoints. But the most incredible feature of Wadi Lajab is the fact that it delivers fresh water more regularly than any other wadi in Saudi Arabia. The stream that runs at the bottom of the canyon creates mid-sized waterfalls and the numerous ponds are deep enough to host fish and travelers who want to enjoy a bath.

Salam Travel Family! ✈️ We are currently in Saudi Arabia doing our PAKISTAN TO SAUDI ARABIA SERIES!
Today we are traveling from Riyadh to Najran. Najran (Arabic: نجران Najrān), is a city in southwestern Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen. Najran was a Yemeni center of cloth making and originally, the kiswah or the cloth of the Ka'aba was made there (the clothing of the Kaba first started by the Yemeni kings of Saba). There used to be a Jewish community at Najran, renowned for the garments they manufactured. In this vlog we will be exploring the rich culture of this Yemen border town and meet many Yemeni people. We will also visit the gun and knife market which is a popular thing to do in Najran. Watch till the end to see the most shocking part!

Situated in the middle of the old city in Riyadh stands the 150 years old Al-Masmak Palace, also known as Al-Masmak Fortress or Fort. Since its construction, the site has witnessed the foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, remaining a symbol of the country’s unification. This was the highlight of our day but who we met outside on the streets, selling tea was the thing that blew us away. Such a kind and beautiful lady! THIS IS SAUDI ARABIAN HOSPITALITY!
