me together on the first Friday of lockdown to throw an online party to give q***rs across the globe a sense of release and community whilst in isolation. Months later they've built an online following and are continuing to throw events for the virtual masses. Q***r House Party has worked and collaborated with Cybertease, United Stripers of The World, Drag Syndrome, Quiplash, Bricks, The Barbican, BFI, and Guildhall to name a few. Q***r House Party keeps their politics and activism central to their events, creating a space that is not only accessible for the whole LGBTIQ+ community but kicks off and campaigns for a wide range of issues that we care about.

This structure helps us keep Q***r House Party affordable for everyone while maintaining good pay for q***rs who work with us without compromising on a banging lineup - it’s a balance that we’ve spent years refining💋

Introducing Black and POC Rage, Rest & Recharge events by Dope Black Q***rs.
We understand and deeply value the importance of coming together to sit in rage, grieve, laugh, cry, have moments of joy and just be through these especially scary and triggering periods of time.
We are planning on creating a space to do just this - the first one will be on Zoom on Thursday 8th August, and we hope to have an IRL event next week, followed by many more (dependent on the success of this fundraiser). The events will be by and for Black and POC LGBTQIA+ folk, and include breath-work, guided mediation, sound-baths, massages, rage and rest discussions forums, dine and discuss supper clubs, IRL & URL events, and much more.

We are deeply angered to witness this racism and islamophobia that is taking place on our streets. We urge all of our white followers to stand up for your black, brown and irregularly status-ed siblings. This is scary, of course it is. But this is the time to be brave, build your communities, check on your neighbours, and share your skills.
We’ll list in this post the actions that are taking place in London and across the UK this week and beyond, but we also want to highlight ways you can support your community in other ways. Through Mutual Aid, advice sharing, emotional and financial support, first aid, and police station support, we can all resist these far-right racists. We keep each other safe.
Q***r House Party has always had its roots in anti-fascism, migrants rights activism and anti-racism. We know this is a threat that has been bubbling in society for many years, this is the threat that the Labour and Tory parties have granted space to become real. The demonisation of migrants, the pandering to Reform, Tommy Robinson, Suella Braverman and a sustained media campaign come at a cost, and this is it.
We have defeated the EDL before, and we can do it again. There is so much information being shared around that it can be overwhelming, and a lot of it is either intentionally or unintentionally misleading. Heightened tensions and the sheer amount of things being shared can lead to burnout and other negative consequences. We recommend relying on callouts from established groups, anti-raid groups, anti-fascist groups, mosques, and trade unions.
Be wary of journalists, stay clear of streamers, don’t talk to cops (even blue bibs), mask up, bring water, arrive and leave in groups, and bring a bust card.
Look out for each other.

We are heartbroken to hear that Kandi Telfar passed away yesterday.
If you came to the last Q***r House Party, you would have been greeted at the door by the best door babes we could have hoped for, Medusa and Kandi Telfar.
Being on the door of a q***r event is a big role as you’re welcoming q***r and/or trans people who may be nervous because they’ve never attended a q***r night out before. Kandi was so warm and great at making everyone who came to Q***r House Party feel welcome. We were excited to have her on the door again at our September event, and so was she.
She was a member of The Haus of Telfar, a beautiful person inside and out, and her nail art was and will forever be unmatched!
Our hearts are with her blood and chosen family, friends, The Haus of Telfar, and all those affected by her passing. We wish you all love and softness 🩵.

Born on the first Friday of lockdown, Q***r House Party started with the aim of bringing solidarity and release to our community, and every week hundreds of us party together into the early hours. How does Q***r House Party work? Just before we go live at 21.00 we’ll send out a link on our socials that will transport you into the party. You can choose to share your video and dance along or just watch everyone else partying. You can also chat with other party guests in the main thread or send private messages ;) We’ll be joined by performers each week who are spotlighted as a full screen, meaning we can all watch together.
