Did you know that the Adelphi Arches in London, originally a series of storage tunnels, were constructed on the banks of the Thames to keep the posh houses of Adelphi Terrace up above the noxious pong of the river?

However, in a turn of fate, by the end of the 1860s they fell into disuse due to the expansion of what is now London’s Embankment. They quickly became home to London's notorious criminal underworld.

Curiously, almost nothing of the Adelphi Arches remains today...that is, apart from in Richard Gadz, writer’s new novel THE EATER OF FLIES - where they serve as the perfect hiding spot for London’s newest Vampyres.

Richard Gadz was bolted together many centuries ago, in a secret laboratory hidden deep in the Carpathian mountains. Following a series of bizarre adventures he now lives in the UK, although he spends most of his time in a world of his own. He's the author of all the books mentioned above, and the highly acclaimed contemporary horror novel Flesh & Blood, written under his real name, Simon Cheshire.
