Internet radio for your mind, body and soul. On air Fri-Sun every weekend. Better Days FM started in March 2020.

It began as a way for a group of friends to connect around music when kept apart by lockdown: station founder Rory Natkiel broadcast to a few friends on a Friday night and it escalated from there! He realised the potential of a station, got a website up and running, and with many DJs in his immediate circle of friends it grew quickly and organically. The fledgling station was soon broadcasting six

days a week. In the year that has followed over 100 DJs from around the world have played on the station, with a global audience of thousands of people. In the summer of 2020 the Better Days FM DJs and listeners raised over £3,000 for between the Stephen Lawrence Trust in the UK and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in the US. In 2021 the DJs involved in the station decided to keep it running full time as a way to show support for the music they love, and to build a platform for different communities to gather around during lockdown and beyond.

Happy New Year one and all!

Around this time on a Friday night we'd normally be sending out the listings for the evening and looking forward to the weekend ahead on BDFM.

But all good things must come to an end and we've decided to call it a day as we head into 2022 😢

Thanks to every single one of you who has listened to the station for the last almost two years. We've had some amazing moments and it truly has helped keep us all together with a sense of community in a difficult time.

We're still planning on holding some BDFM get togethers and many of the DJs will be going to other stations, so keep your eyes peeled for what the gang does next!

But for now it's goodbye from all of us and thanks for listening x
