*Part time Production Co-ordinator/Jnr Production Manager for growing company*
Black Leaf Films are a small but growing company making current affairs documentaries for UK and international channels including Channel 4, Al Jazeera and Channel News Asia. In the last year we’ve sent teams to investigate surrogacy in Georgia (for Unreported World), to look at scammers in India (Channel News Asia) and to a remote mountain in Colombia, the Torres Strait in Australia and on a road trip across the USA for a series on First Nations people for Al Jazeera.
We’re looking for an experienced production co-ordinator /Jnr production manager who is excited at the idea of making these kinds of shoots happen, and seeing them through post to delivery to come on board, initially on a part time freelance basis.
Although this is initially a short stint, it could be extended very soon (commissions pending) and we’re generally looking to build a long term arrangement with someone who can work alongside the Executive Producer to help grow the company and is interested in building a team and managing their own projects as the company expands. Our ideal candidate would also have editorial experience and be interested in development, but it’s not essential. We what definitely need at the moment are solid production co-ordination skills and some proficiency with Excel.
It’s initially three days a week but we’re very flexible in terms of days, times and WFH, so might suit a parent returning from maternity/paternity leave.
Dates: 30th Aug – 14th October (initially).
Location: London, Tottenham.
