Do not place yourself in the privileged position of judge over your fellow man. Instead, humble yourself and search deep within your own heart to confirm you are truly following God's commandments. We must ask ourselves: are we showing love to our neighbors and bringing glory to God in our interactions? This does not mean accepting or condoning sin, but rather loving the person beneath their error and refusing to cast stones. Since we all fall short of God's glory, let us choose to share the transforming power of God's love—setting a Christ-like example that points others toward humility and repentance.

James 4:11-12 ESV
[11] Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. [12] There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

The reality of this world is that financial riches are merely temporary. Human beings toil to gain a financial foothold, only for it to soon disappear or for their lives to be cut short, never truly getting to enjoy what they worked towards. Even those who do enjoy wealth cannot take it with them beyond the grave; their accomplishments are mostly forgotten within a hundred years.

However, there are greater riches found in living a humble life of faith. What the world considers a lowly life is truly a life of everlasting joy, storing great treasures in this life and the life to come. These treasures are far beyond the realm of mere material possessions. Boast in the power of the Lord and focus upon Him; then you shall be exalted according to your humility, remembering that true abundance is found in the peace and joy the presence of the Lord brings us.

James 1:9-11 ESV
[9] Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, [10] and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. [11] For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, I immerse myself in Your Divine Life. Father, be my fortress. Jesus, seal me in Your Precious Blood. Holy Spirit, fill me with Your fire and authority to resist the enemy.

Holy Mary, Queen of Angels, I renew my consecration to you. Spread your mantle of protection over me, and as the Immaculate Conception, crush the head of the serpent that seeks to disturb my peace.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend me in this battle. Be my safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Drive back the darkness with your sword of truth.

I stand firm in the victory of the Cross.

Amen.

The Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens is the first major public ritual in the process of becoming Catholic It marks the spiritual threshold where an "Inquirer" publicly declares their intention to follow Christ, and the Church solemnly accepts them as "Catechumens."
