I’m really excited to finally share the cover of my next book Swop The Daring Dinosaur Detective! It’s out on January 20th and is beautifully illustrated by James Cottell. It’s the second in the dyslexic friendly 7+ Swop series. I have really enjoyed sharing Book 1, Swop The Satsuma-Sized Secret with so many children so I can’t wait to get into schools next year to share this new one. It’s set in The Natural History Museum, so I have so much to talk about — dinosaurs, fossils and of course the world’s smallest dog! Such a fantastic launch week for Ebbs and Flows. Our author Sarah Surgey has visited so many children in schools across the UK in person and virtually. And Pia and her emotions have proved to be very popular with the children as well as all the adults! Gözde Eyce has brought Pia’s journey to life so beautifully.

Copies being bought for homes, schools and the library. So many positive conversations are going to be started about mental health and wellbeing. We are very proud to be publishing this one!

World 🌍 Earth Day!

Why not join a Virtual Author Visit to celebrate?

If any infant/primary schools are interested in joining a virtual author event for Earth Day based around our picture book ‘Herman Needs A Home’ it has themes of recycling/plastic pollution and the effects on the environment. It’s also an adventure story about hermit crabs.

We have two slots to choose from Monday 22nd April 10-10.40 or 11-11.40 and there is no limit to the number of children involved - each school just has to commit to buy 15 copies of Herman (parents are offered the chance to buy signed copies so this is very often more than 15 per visit).

If you are interested in more info or want to reserve a slot (we just have ten slots left) please email us on [email protected] and if you mention this page you will get a free signed copy of Herman for your library when you are confirmed a slot.
