t is not Christmas without Franciacorta, so, our final wine for this Advent Calendar is Rizzini Franciacorta Brut Millesimato.

Rizzini Franciacorta Brut Millesimato originates in the Piedmont vineyards of Monticelli Brusati, in the north-eastern area of Franciacorta. It is produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand. The sparkling process follows the Classical Method tradition. The wine is left to ferment in stainless steel tanks and, after a passage in barriques, matures for at least 60 months in the bottle, on the lees.

This Franciacorta is straw yellow in colour with golden reflections, a floral boquet, its aroma reminiscent of fresh field fruit. The palate is full and persistent, with a mint finish.

The elegance of this Franciacorta Brut Millesimato goes well with the delicacy of shellfish and sophisticated fish and seafood preparations.
