Founded by Alex Rath in Berlin, Germany some 13 years ago, now owned and run solely by Mariana Orsho in London, UK. The label's historical imprints hav

e consistently over the past years reached peak positions in the global vinyl charts and have proudly presented the works of Diego Krause, Terry Francis, Baldo, Ruff Stuff, Audiopath, Martin Dacar, Jeremy P. Caulfield, Mike Wall, FOG, Nicola Brusegan, Glasidum and many more, with exciting releases to come in 2022 including the works of Jay Tripwire, Reboot, Ray Okpara, Cirkel Square, Camilo Gil and many more. Suena Hermosa will continue to honour the classic sound of the label throughout time and will always retain our vinyl only promise. We regret to announce that at this point, we cannot accept any more demos for 2022, due to our full release schedule, as it is of utmost importance for us to honour the works in line to come first, however we always welcome new works for future consideration in mind and are always grateful for you reaching out and connecting with us, and sharing your music and thoughts with us. …Having founded Telum Label almost 8 years ago (an imprint which holds the meaning ‘secret weapon’ translated from Latin) as a means to simply releasing the sound that he truly loved to play out, Lee’s stance on the project was always to keep the music at the core of it’s ethos, not just who’s behind it. There couldn’t be more memorable a way to have ended a special year! 🥰

The week between Christmas and new year is always tricky, yet against all odds, completely selling out the event before opening & witnessing such electric energies in both rooms 2&3, seeing ALL the artists truly SHINE, seeing so many familiar, and new faces, gleaming deep in the grooves on both dance floors, will be a memory we’ll all treasure for a lifetime!

To all the incredible people who came that night, of whom there were over a thousand - something I’ve always tried to remind all the dancers of is despite all that we do behind the scenes & all that goes into this on our side, the real creators of those nights are YOU & the ARTISTS. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your support, for bringing the beautiful vibes that you have every time & supporting the artists.

Every single set played that night was nothing short of utterly perfect, to all the artists: Gescu, who brought all the unforgettable energies of sunrise to his EPIC closing set of the night, Desuba who closed room 3 in a way I think Ive NEVER seen that space come to life, Haydn & Annie Errez, Adrianho, Vlad Ioachimescu & Obreja who all played some of the most beautiful sets of the year representing our Suena family, our wonderful guest DELASFLORES who’s distinctively warm grooves brought a perfect energy to room 3 - THANK YOU ALL for making MAGIC happen that night!

To the staff & team at fabriclondon, especially those behind CAYA Sundays, Jacob, Giacomo and lovely Winter, you are a FORCE that is SO appreciated amongst the London scene, please know this. It’s taken me some time to find a way to describe the magic that surrounded that weekend of the return of London’s beloved 🥹✨and finally being able to witness this unbelievably gifted soul - performing his live set… it’s still a challenge to find the words but being his birthday today, it’s the right moment! 🎁🎂🥰
I often find myself having to blink and pinch myself when I watch the family work their magic around the world, its just beyond my wildest dreams to be in the company of and to have the unspeakable honour of working with such astonishingly gifted human beings… this one was an experience I will treasure for life, and it’s meant so much to see so many of you since who have said the same, thank you for that truly unforgettable journey, you beautiful soul!
Seeing you dive straight into the crowd from the start til the end of the event and delve into deep conversations with all the people who were so excited to come see you play was one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed and says so much about the human being you are! And seeing so many of our familia come from far and wide to be there with you for this meant the universe ❤️ I could literally explode from the love I have for this family ✨

Hailing from Moldova, Minube has crafted & refined quietly under the radar for the past decade, his own meticulously distinctive and individual approach to the composition and sculpture of sound, creating his own unique unmistakable stamp, creating an ever rising imprint on the minimal scene over recent years.  Sergiu’s career as a DJ began in 2009 when his performances began attracting widening attention due to his unconventionally dynamic selection and flawless delivery throughout his sets.  Over the years, Minube focused on embracing experience & growth, always focusing on delivering the perfect sound for the space, with an endless desire to capture emotions and connect deeply with the listener through his journey.  Focusing strongly on connecting his ideas with the listeners mind, Minube’s storytelling through his music is easily read and profoundly warming.  Minube today enjoys displaying his craft both individually via his mind-blowing DJ sets, as well as through his live project titled ‘sol_soundoflife’ where together with his partner, he delivers an unforgettable journey through a polymorphic live set.  Sergiu has been releasing his music on a plethora of globally respected labels and has stacked up a solid list of vinyl releases that express his true individualism as an artist.

I always say, those who create, never really die 🖤…

It breaks me to smithereens writing this, I never imagined it would be so soon.
In loving memory of our dearly treasured friend, truly gifted artist, historical founder of the Suena Hermosa label - Alex Rath 🤍

Over a decade ago we connected through a friend I was touring with, with whom you were friends since he left Germany to move to Thailand, when I moved to London we began to connect again and make some music together remotely between London and Berlin, you were so passionate about expressing your true sound, SO fiercely passionate. Nothing about trends or what was ‘cool’ at that time phased you, you inspired me endlessly.
Soon we met in London when you came to play for us at NoNonsense party with our family there, you were all the energy and sunshine in the room! Your music was mind blowing and we too became family.
You were the first to sign my first ever EP on vinyl alongside my partner at the time, and this was something I never will forget… soon after, you handed me the honour of taking over the beautiful historical stamp and label of Suena Hermosa, something I will still never quite imagine happened and it meant more to me than anything.

Everything I do today, is with thanks to you, you were a true visionary, immensely kind and loving soul, amazing friend and someone who will always be in my heart, brother. I will miss our chats. Our calls about the music, about life.
Thank you with all my heart for your presence in my life. For all that you did, I wish you knew, I wish I could one last time meet with you and tell you face to face how much I appreciate you.

Your strength and resilience and positivity through your difficult fight over the last year has been immeasurably inspiring. I am so happy you are not in pain anymore and that you can rest in peace 🤍
I cannot even imagine how your family and wife and those closest to you are feeling and my heart and soul and deepest condolences are going out to you all. ❤️‍🩹

I’m so happy that you found love, a love so beautiful, my heart is going out to Kathi and your families and loved ones ❤️
