I don’t post a lot, but one year ago today was a huge milestone for me when I stepped away from my safe, known career into something entirely new and unknown.

The lucky part is that I’ve had the best year at work so far (I’d already had some pretty epic years!) and mainly because of the people I’ve been surrounded by.

The incredible new people I’ve met, the friends and former colleagues who’ve helped me out without asking anything in return. This photo was taken by one of the best while we somehow managed to have fun in the middle of being stood up for over an hour. Long story.

I feel lucky and grateful. You all know who you are and thank you. Let’s see what the next year brings! 💫

That’s a pretty handy skill on this long Bank Holiday weekend in the U.K. When she isn’t making her GVO family smile, presenter can be found hosting her own radio show, making specials for TV, with family and friends, or… writing her first book. More soon!

The home stretch.

has been sailing the Atlantic for the last few weeks gathering data on whale migration patterns, because keeping the whales in our oceans safe and healthy helps us all.

We recently learnt (from George) that each great whale sequesters 33 tons of CO2 on average during its lifetime, taking that carbon out of the atmosphere for centuries! Amazing.
