Test film for client CK Foodstores

Film produced for client CountryFresh Eggs from their time at the Senedd a week ago, helping NFU Cymru install 5,500 pairs of wellies to protest about the government’s agricultural policy. With Abi Reader

From the moment Tony Curtis Wales Poet handed us a box of decades old cassette tapes last November, this project has taken on a bit of a life of its own. On one of those tapes was a 1989 audio recording of the celebrated Welsh writter and Poet, Dannie Abse. Dannie had been addressing students in the New Theatre Cardiff, and it was our job to then convert this audio to something more visual, adding pictures and images from the great man’s life, to illustrate his dulcet tones. The film had its first outing last evening c/o Bardic Vintage Books in St Illtud's Church, Llantwit Major.

We were recently asked to digitally restore and old cassette tape that hasn’t been played in over 30 years. It’s a remarkable recording of Dannie Abse talking at New Theatre Cardiff made 35 years ago in 1989 We have now added images to this wonderful soundtrack, and turned it into a 45 minute film which you can enjoy in the company of Tony Curtis Wales Poet who introduced Dannie on that night in 1989 Book here https://dannieabseinperformance.eventbrite.co.uk #poetry #llantwitmajor #welshwritinginenglish
