Our first proper year in review

11 new venues filmed
1 Drone narrowly avoiding a dip in the ocean,
1 Drone not avoiding a tree,
1 Popped tyre 10 miles from a garage,
1 Bride falling over on her walk out,
4 conga lines,
1 exploding wine bottle,
20 miles driven in the wrong direction,
1 family of doves,
1 Carribean Limbo,
1 Finishing Line,
1 Crazy Golf,
10's of amazing speeches,
Several beautiful brides,

And 1 Happy Dan

And that's a wrap on the final documantary for 2023. Not that I can take the foot off the gas for too long because I have 2 to deliver in January but for now I'd like to wish my clients past, present and future a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

You have all, in your own way turned DPM into what it is and what I'm sure it will be.

On a personal note I'm spending the entirity of this holiday in the company of my beautiful little family for the first time in my adult life without worrying about working full time as a chef. So I'm going to have an 18 years in the making, well deserved Christmas break.

Any couples have any questions or queries I will still be answering but apart from that I will be radio silent.

Another full doc delivered today. Really trying my best to get everyone who was filmed before October done before xmas. Anyone waiting on highlights will be January now so I can focus on the couples who have gone slightly over the estimated times.

I want to take a minute to thank all my current couples for their patience over the last few weeks.

With me starting a new job in a totally new career I have had my focus on other things whilst also trying to keep up with the much busier year of business than I ever expected here.

I have put a plan into place and am also currently working on a way to inform current couples more easily about where their product is at all steps of the process, it just takes time and I will be in Touch as soon as I have implemented it.

Thanks again you guys, every single one of you has been amazing to work with and I'm glad I got to shoot your days in my first year of business.

The screen at the top is one part of a pair of 32 inch 4k 10bit displays I've been editing on for about 2 years as a pc user. I recently switched to an M2 pro macbook pro and have to get used to this itty bitty baby screen when I'm out and about and I'm having endless issue getting used to it lol. I know, I know, Size isn't everything Dan, which I agree with but the motion if the ocean can only do so much too.

When you are the best man at a wedding but can't turn off the videographer in you. Have to have a quick look at the footage before I go dance haha.

My second shooter JF Media took the helm instead of me today and I cant wait to see what he does.

Sent off another Vintage Wooden Box to a couple today. The Usb has Both their highlight video and their feature length documentary on it aswel as a custom laser engraved box and some pictures taken by whilst second shooting me.

Very Fruitful night of editing. I have Catherine And Jamie's Full doc to a great place and from just last Friday I have almost completed a draft 1 of Sarah and Martin's Highlight video.

I also Dropped off Lisa and Wayne's vintage box Sunday with their full doc inside.

So last night we hijacked the photo booth but Friday night we hijacked the photographer and he managed to get this little corker out to me earlier.
