Our friends at GOG Triathlon Club have been busily organising the Llanrwst Triathlon all year. Unfortunately, the coffee van has had to pull out. Is there anyone out there who has a coffee van and who would be willing to come to Gwydir Carpark on Sunday morning to sell their coffee? Great opportunity for you, there are 160 competitors and their supporters as well as all the marshals who will be needing coffee during the day! Let me know if you know someone or if you can do it yourself?

I'm excited to announce that John is now an Ambassador for

The TRAIL PURSUIT race festival will be held in our very own backyard in the beautiful Conwy Valley/ Snowdonia on 24-25 June 2023. Based at Adventure Parc Snowdonia.

Races are open to all levels of runner, so if you fancy running some beautiful trails, passing waterfalls and taking in some mountainous views then this is the trail race for you ! It's a safe low level course taking in some incredible views whilst still giving you the full trail experience.

🏃‍♀️ Trail Half Marathon, 10K & Kids 1 mile

Festival activities: 🧘🏿‍♂️ Flow with yoga💃🏻 Dance to eclectic tunes😤 Breathwork classes🏃‍♂️ Guided hikes ❄️ Ice bath experience
🎤 Inspiring athlete talks🌌 and you can even camp under the stars. Obviously there will be cake available and Bar facilities on site.

Date: 24-25 June 2023. Race entry gives you the full festival experience for the weekend.

In this, the first half of the Mark Hemsley story we hear about his adventures around the world, from cheating death by spider bite, crashing on the most dangerous roads in the world and narrowly missing being on the beach when the Tsunami hit.

Mark takes us around the world with his storytelling, finding new species of frogs in the Jungle and running away from a Columbian cartel.
Mark tells us about his childhood and we hear about the influence his late father had on his life in an emotional rollercoaster that will bring a tear to most hardened of listeners.

Mark has a way of telling his story that is both humorous and riveting and it is because of this that this episode is one not to be missed.
