Plaza 80s is back with a bang to celebrate our third birthday and to launch the Autumn/Winter program with The Blues Brothers on Saturday 14th September.

The Blues Brothers (15) is a 1980 cult American musical action comedy film directed by John Landis. It stars John Belushi as "Joliet" Jake Blues and Dan Aykroyd as his brother Elwood, characters developed from the recurring musical sketch "The Blues Brothers" on NBC's variety series Saturday Night Live.

Jake and Elwood will be blowing out the third birthday candles alongside a cast including James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, John Lee Ho**er and Carrie Fisher.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 29th July at 6pm, £7 (cash only) from the Plaza Community Cinema Box Office. The film is supported by DJ Nick Gartland playing an 80s set.

Plaza 80s Presents Pretty In Pink is a cult classic film from 1986 about love and social cliques in American high schools. It was directed by Howard Deutch and written by the legendary John Hughes. It stars Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy and Jon Cryer.

Thanks to everyone who attended Saturday’s busy Action Double Bill with Predator and RoboCop on the big screen! What a great atmosphere! We have had amazing feedback from attendees.

Here is a reminder of today's Plaza 80s Presents Predator & Robocop show times.

Doors open at 6pm, we recommend getting there early to get your preferred seats as the night will be busy. I will be on from 6pm with an 80s set and the first film will start at 6.30pm.

There will be a bar and a bucket collection on the night.

We ask that all ticket holders bring one item for the foodbank collection on the night or prior to the cinemas collection point in the foyer.

The last of the tickets can be purchased via the link or there will be tickets available on the night at Plaza Community Cinema.
