Pandemic Books: Here are all the books that Dead Ink has published since the start of the pandemic.
We're tired. Very very tired, but incredibly proud of the whole team and all of the authors who have stuck by us.
Can't believe this isn't over yet...
Pretty sure the whole team and all of the freelancers we work with are teetering on the brink of burnout, if not already there, but each of these books has been a joy and presented their own challenges in working around restrictions and keeping everyone safe.
When the pandemic first started we delayed most of our releases until we could figure out how things were going to work... Still figuring that out.
As it went on it was clear that we would have to begin releasing books during lockdown.
Authors, agents, funders, and freelancers were all understanding, but it was a big leap into the unknown.
Especially for the authors! Phone calls with @harri8here and Naomi Booth explaining the situation stand out, but they trusted us and knew that we were doing all we could.
