Studio Wallop is so proud of our producer, Kim and her crew, Sally, Harry and Nathaniel, for completing the World's Toughest Row.
They finished first in mixed class and sixth overall out of the 38 boats participating. They completed their epic 3000-mile row in 40 days, 17 hours, and 48 minutes. The crews left La Gomera in the Canary Islands on December 11th, 2025, and finished in Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua.

An outstanding achievement by the whole team. We are truly inspired and in awe of their incredible success!

You can still help them support the RNLI, their chosen charity. Nathaniel is a serving lifeboat volunteer crew member.

Team Oars of Thunder Embarks on the Adventure of a Lifetime!
Tomorrow, Team Oars of Thunder begins the World’s Toughest Row - Atlantic: a gruelling 3,000-mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera to Antigua!
This extraordinary team includes Kim, our talented producer here at Studio Wallop.
Sally,
Nathaniel, an RNLI volunteer lifeboatman
Harry

Over the next few weeks, they’ll face waves as tall as houses, rowing non-stop in shifts 24/7. The physical toll is immense: they’ll burn over 8,000 calories daily, lose an average of 10-15% of their body weight, and overcome mental and physical exhaustion.

Why are they doing it? To raise money for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) – an incredible cause that saves lives at sea, just like the challenges they’ll face out there.
You can follow their journey on oarsofthunder.co.uk and cheer them on as they take on this incredible challenge of endurance, teamwork, and sheer determination.

We wish them safe travels, calm waters, and strong winds in their favour.

🎉 Exciting news! Our latest Miss Molecule & Friends episode is almost here, launching in early 2025! 🎬

This fun, inspiring, and engaging animation comes with lesson plans and resources that schools can use to bring the subject to life. But that's not all! Schools can also book a visit from an industry expert, giving students a chance to ask questions and dive deeper into the topic.

From termite farts and cow poo-powered tractors to rockets and satellites tracking methane emissions, this film covers it all! 🚜🚀

Help us spread the word! We’d love for our followers, friends, and colleagues to share this far and wide so we can reach as many schools and teachers as possible with this fantastic opportunity! 🙌

If your school would like to book a visit in the new year, please email us at [email protected]. Let’s make this year an educational adventure! 🌍✨
