The image was taken from an actual medieval manuscript which is perfect as the book, like my others, does feature monks and abbeys. But this story is also about life outside of abbey walls, and what happens when a man of faith tries to run from his God and from his vocation. It is a story of loss and heartbreak, but also of hope and the redeeming love of God. I am proud of this one. It is very personal to me, and I think will speak to anyone who has ever questioned their faith, or where God is in the circumstances of life thrown at them.

Part 3 of the big reveal!

All of my previous novels have titles that start with 'The'. 'The Healing' my first book, was called that because it was based on my own experience of God's healing work in my life, whilst telling the story of a medieval's knight's healing. All the subsequent books have had titles that describe the main character and hint at their story. 'The Pilgrim', 'The Bride' and this one... 'The Strangler'? Nope!!! 'The Stranger'!
