A lot of the prototype aluminium milled components were turning out to be absolutley extortionate. So with the power of 3D printing, some graft and blood we converted a second hand mini mill to be a CNC mill, perfect for creating all our custom aluminium components. 3D printing is awesome! Not may parts left to order now for the pre-production version of Photon. Were on track to finish building the printer by end august. Whoooo!!!

PHOTONs' controller coming along nicely. This is still work in progress but, were really excited as it will clean up and simplify wiring up all the various electronics.

Many may not know this, but we named ourselves after Physeter Macrocephalus, AKA the s***m whale. A few have washed up on Lincolnshire beaches, where we are based. It's an absolute tragedy that these amazing creatures have died.
