From 2007 to now
Founded in 2007, Swan Music specialised in producing backing tracks and soundalike music for licensing for television, film and the mobile industry. Directors Iain Kerr and Danny McCormack began playing piano at an early age, and decided to team up in 2015 to expand Swan Music’s repertoire of services utilising Danny’s extensive skills and knowledge opening the company to a much wider marketplace.
In addition to custom composition and production for TV & Film, Swan partners with artists for composition and production and recent productions include, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Brian Mcfadden’s OTIS album and debut album from former Ocean Colour Scene member Andy Bennett.
Whilst Swan’s every day activities revolve around large projects the new headquarters in Lichfield, Staffordshire boasts a mini studio where anyone can come along and make a record like back in the old days! A couple of hours with one of our professional producers and you walk away with your CD or Vinyl.
Founded by entrepreneur Iain Kerr, who's other companies focus on the telecoms, and media sector trading in around 120 countries. Music is his true passion and with the expansion of Swan has allowed him to work in the business daily.
