Nepal to Host ICC U19 Men’s CWC Asia Qualifier 2025

Nepal has been selected as the host nation for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifier 2025, set to take place from April 12 to 21, 2025. This prestigious tournament will feature top youth teams from across the region, including:

• Nepal (Host)
• Afghanistan
• Hong Kong
• Oman
• United Arab Emirates (UAE)

The competition will be fierce, with the winner earning a coveted spot in the 2026 ICC Under 19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Living up to his reputation for doing the unexpected, MS Dhoni announced his international retirement with an Instagram post. Shortly before Chennai Super Kings' first training camp for the IPL, Dhoni, 39, posted a slideshow of photos from his career with the caption "Thanks - Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired." His CSK and former India team-mate Suresh Raina followed suit with an Instagram post of his own. Many had expected Dhoni to retire from India duties after the 2019 World Cup but while he asked not to be selected for subsequent limited-overs series, he gave little indication about whether he wanted to continue until the 2021 T20 World Cup. Dhoni finished his career as one of India's all-time greatest limited-overs players, their most successful captain, and the only one to win lift all three ICC trophies - the 50-over World Cup, the T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy. Raina, who finished with over 5000 ODI runs, was a part of the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy wins.
