I’ve been kinda quiet here for a wee while. My focus lately has been tied to really just regular residency & private gigs as well as my own business
I’ve never been a heavily social media or “image” focused DJ, but times have changed in the scene and love it or hate it, for the little fish, it’s the way to go now to promote yourself. I’m personally not a fan of the whole “TikTok DJ culture” but my plan this summer is to become more active on socials to showcase what I do and have fun, without the ego drive that unfortunately is floating around the scene these days.
It’s now time to step back a bit from (just) the “crowd pleasing” and bill paying work to also having fun and playing what I love most, as that’s what DJ’ing is all about.
Coming soon, to kick off I’ve got a few live streams planned starting from house (what I love the most) to some harder old skool stuff which has a special place in my heart as it’s what I was brought up listening to.
PS this post isn’t a plead for likes etc. and rather letting you know a change in format of what some folk might know me for.
