Sunfish Starfish is a very pleasant recent discovery, a duo of Steve O'Malley and Emma Reed produces lengthy pieces of soundscapes and delicate sonic layers intertwined with found sounds, samples and unusual electroacoustic insturments which I have always enjoyed and still admire a lot...I have watched them only once in concert, but that was enough to invite them to Konsztrukting Soundz, I am really happy they have accepted my invitation and they will be performing at KONSZTRUKTING SOUNDZ Evening #9 on 16th November at The Fishermen's Chapel...
the track I am posting is one of four amazing recordings of their live perfomances album recorded during the past couple of years, this particular one was recorded at Ealing Extranormal gig in January 2024.....tickets for EVENING #9 are availalbe online, link in the event description.

...they are back and they will play "things, other things and more things amplified and manipulated"...the amazing free improv duo of Edward Shipsey and Christopher Hill is back to Konsztrukting Soundz...they will not prepare anything for KONSZTRUKTING SOUNDZ Evening #9, their complete set will remain unpredictable and hectic and minimal and complex and fantastic!

...I was always drawn to solo performances, it never mattered what instruments were involved...the importance was the solitude of the performer, being and breathing in a space, being alone together with the instrument which they are masters of...
