Editing of the small docu type filming I have shot from the recent For the Love of Horror weekend event is well under way. THING fans will hear many stories from Peter Abbott such as how he met John Carpenter, how he came across part of the chopper rotor assembly from the original helicopter that exploded in John Carpenters 1982 Scifi Horror. We will hear from the amazing creators over at Nightmare Machines informing us how monsters were made, how they stored them and of course clips from the actual event. Stay tuned folks..

A truly awesome weekend and easily the highlight of my cos-playing year. Now the task of logging all of the footage and photos I took to make some sort of sense before releasing interviews... Nightmare Machines pulled it out of the bag again and THING fans were loving their set. Very hot walking around as Mac - wearing a flight suit, hoodie, leather jacket, hat and a beard and tash all trap the heat. At one point there were three Mac's walking around, it was sooooo cool!!...Anyway stay tuned for snaps and general footage / interviews over the coming days / weeks whilst I go back to the land of real life.

A very long wait but the final countdown has begun.. Today in 7 days I will be in Manchester as part of the Nightmare Machines team. Friday will consist of filming the THING experience being installed, lots of behind the scenes footage, interviews and of course a ton of photos.

Saturday I will be mostly in full MacReady mode and will be on the THING stand area along with many fellow THING cosplayers. Sunday will be more of the same but I am hoping to have a break at some point so Swampy can get a walk around.

This coming Sunday I will be interviewing and filming Peter Abbott about his amazing THING memorabilia, elements will be on display at For the Love of Horror. My intention is to release an interesting short film about our experience over the weekend coupled with Peters amazing THING collection.

If you are lucky enough to have tickets for next weekend and you spot me as mac or Swamp please do pop over for a snap together.

EIGHTEENTH AND FINAL BATCH of photos taken on the Saturday at The Victory Show.

Thanks again to my good mate Will Jungle McClure for asking me to be a part of the Victory Show Tog team once again. I think this show was my 12th with my first one being back in 2010 or 2011.

Being Ex Forces of some 24 years I still get a buzz at Living History events and the Victory Show is my favourite to attend. Made lots of mates along the way just by taking photos and filming. Anyway I hope you have liked this years set of photos and feel free to tag, download, use where ever.

Tidying up data on one of my old hard drives and came across this lil clip shown on the Lorraine show - Good Morning Britain. (Fast forward to 43 secs) It was when I filmed my good friend top stunt man and stunt coordinator Riky Ash proposing to his fiancé Katrina Dobson whilst set on fire. It made headlines around the world.
