Have a peek at some more of the pre-production work from 'Of All The Things'. We are passionate about animation as a medium for storytelling not just for children but for all audiences.
Animated shorts are a wonderful format, they can have a big impact on audiences in a very short space of time. They are great for visually and emotionally conveying complex topics making them more accessible and easier to discuss.
We hope that using animation to depict hoarding disorder and the emotions it triggers will offer people a fresh perspective on the condition.

We have just two weeks to go on our
'Of All The Things' crowdfunder.
We are sharing a clip from our crowdfund video explaining where we are at in the film production. We have so many beautiful backgrounds we want to bring alive with the characters and to tell the story. We have had some exciting news today as we have a new executive producer joining us. We still need everyone to share share share so we can reach our target though. Corporate Sponsorship packages are also available. Contact us for more details.
Help get this film to an audience to de-stigmatize hoarding and help people reach the support they need.

Hear the story of 'Of All The Things' and see some of our work in progress.
"Ava remembers her childhood home as a place full of amazing treasures and adventures. The day she returns home from university, however, everything changes: what used to be a place for adventures has become an oppressive box, and her mother’s things and fear of letting go overwhelm their home and their relationship. By dipping into memories and sharing a moment in time, can mother and daughter reach an understanding?"

💡 What the Experts Think💡Clouds End CIC were early supporters of our short film. Director Heather Matuozzo said "Using visual imagery information can be shared very quickly. It is easier for people to understand the message in a gentle appealing way."

Why we're telling this story: Of All The Things
'Of All The Things' explores Hoarding Disorder, an often overlooked mental health issue. Growing up with a parent who hoards, our director, knows the stigma and shame that comes with the condition. In response to the extreme TV shows about hoarded homes that often focused on shock value, Steff Lee - Artist wanted to use her skills to raise awareness of the condition in a more positive way.
Through our film, we want to share a different look at living with hoarding disorder that builds empathy, challenges stereotypes, and encourages those struggling to seek support. By highlighting the human emotions around hoarding, how it impacts family and showing the journey to acceptance we hope to spark compassion and start the conversation.

This week we will be celebrating the women who have worked on 'Of All The Things' sharing some of their experiences on this project. ♀️ Part of our focus with this film was to create opportunities for new graduates and women in animation, which we are pleased to say we achieved with our majority female team. 🙌
Our crowdfunder was also featured in the Animated Women UK newsletter this week. AWUK exists to positively support, represent, celebrate and encourage women in the animation and VFX industries in the UK. Hosting workshops and networking events it's a great community to be a part of if you're a woman in the industry.

📣 PORTFOLIO UPDATE: Loved working on these animations for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust providing tips and advice for young people waiting for a neurodiversity assessment. The films have been shared on the Autism Space and Health for Teens websites. It was great working in the two character styles and being able to include some cute chibi-inspired artwork in the films.
