Nazaakuuna has been chosen as one of FLO’s editors picks for the next couple of days for his track ‘Hold Me’.

Nazaakunna is a vibrant Afro-gospel artist from Owerri, Nigeria, known for his unique blend of Afro-beats, RnB, and gospel music. His music is a powerful fusion of African rhythms and spiritually uplifting themes, captivating listeners with its energetic beats and heartfelt messages. Musical Journey & Influences: Naza’s musical journey began at a young age, influenced by the rich sounds of Afrobeat and traditional gospel.

While working on his debut EP, Nazaakunna found himself juggling many personal struggles. During a break, as he took a walk, two verses from the Bible came to mind: Hebrews 13:5b, “For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” and Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

Quicker by Anya Lang

Anya is a pop and blues singer, heavily influenced by both mainstream and indie popular music. Originally from the midlands, she moved to Surrey to study Creative Artistry at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

From Age 14, she was performing across the midlands, at events such as Birmingham pride and Folk on Water alongside well known venues such as the Bedford Club. She learnt piano at age 5, picked up drums in her teens and began to teach herself guitar.

“Quicker” is Anya Lang’s latest release - blending pop vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and vibrant synths with warm guitar tones. It’s a fresh, emotional journey lyrically about forgiveness, friendship, and love.
