The power of colour grading brings the visuals to life through, for
example, adjusting the curves, brightness and white balance of an image.

‘Colour grading helps you create a mood or coherent sensibility with
your colour palette. Different from colour correction, which makes your
images look exactly like they appear in real life, colour grading
conveys a visual tone.’

We really enjoyed this shoot with the cast of The MountainTop from the Made at Curve production. 🎥

Taking inspiration from 'Red Table Talk', we wanted the interview set up to be more relaxed and conversation led. To also make it more dynamic, we included purple lighting around the table. 💜

We enjoyed meeting the Wonder Boy cast recently!

In ‘Wonder Boy’ they use captions throughout the whole production, and use cool creative ways to show the difference between characters through font and colour.
Creative captioning is an integration of subtitles and storytelling within the theatre space.There are also over 1.9k cues throughout the whole show! 🎥 🎭

In honour of Back To The Future Day, we wanted to travel back in time to the start of Crosscut!

Crosscut was officially born in Leicester in 2016!
Having freelanced for some years, Crosscut was created after Duncan and Dan decided to set up shop under one brand. Ever since then, the company has grown and developed in so many ways but has always retained one key aim: to provide an approachable, high quality service with a personality.

The team today includes Fran as our video producer and Georgina as our marketing manager too!

We’ve recently worked with Blink Cat Food on their new campaign, the launch of their new dry food packaging.
Larno from .photography was our photographer on the shoot, capturing images to be used for their social content.
