Last meetings of 2025.

On Monday, 22nd December, we will be hosting the local Neighbourhood Watch meeting at 6pm, covering the local areas.

From 7pm, we will have the local Neighbourhood Policing Team attending for their scheduled PACT (Police & Communities Together) meeting.
This is your opportunity to ask/speak to the police directly about the concerns in your community.

Just as a reminder, we will be having our FREE Family Xmas Activity event tomorrow, 12:30-3:30pm.
Come and see Santa in his Grotto, and get a present from him, along with a lucky dip, and activites, all for no cost.

What an amazing first night of the 2025 Santa Sleigh Tours. 🛷
Despite the weather being a little glum to start with, it cleared up, and Wortley didn't disappoint us in coming out to see Santa. 🎅

If the rain continues like it is, we WILL be out in Wortley for the Santa Sleigh Tours 2025!

Please visit our page from 5:30 pm, as we will be live-streaming dashcam video footage of our location. We will also post in the comments on that feed updates of upcoming streets etc.

Please be mindful that all times are estimated times, and as volunteers, we do all that we can to make this a special occasion.
Show some love and come out and support us.

We are monitoring the weather for tonight’s Wortley Santa Sleigh Tour.
Whilst it doesn’t look like the rain will stop it is supposed to be slow down considerably.
We will review the situation closer to the time and update everyone as soon as we can.

Ho! Ho! Ho! 🎅

It's finally here! The Santa Sleigh Tour route & times for 2025 are here! ⏰ 🧭

Santa's first trip will be on Thursday, the 18th of December, around Wortley, followed by Farnley on the 19th of December.

On Saturday, 20th December, we will hold our annual Santa's Grotto and Family Activity session at Farnley Community Centre.

For the first time this year, we will have a SEN session, but this must be booked as places will be limited. This can be booked by visiting www.farnleycommunitycentre.co.uk/events
This session will run from 10:30 - 12:00.

Our General session will run from 12:30-3:30pm, and every child will receive a gift from Santa.
Both sessions are free to attend. Any questions, please get in touch. ☺️

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!!!! ⏰

Just over 24 hours to go until Farnley's first ever Christmas Light Switch-on. Whilst the weather is forecast to be a bit rainy, we will not let that dampen the evening. ☔️ 😀

We're excited to be able to bring this event to our community and hope that this is the start of a new tradition that we can grow year on year. 🎅
