Parents are being urged to ensure their children are vaccinated against Flu this winter. The vaccine is offered to school aged pupils, children aged 2-5 not yet in school and children 6months-2years with a condition that puts them at risk. The vaccine is offered as a nasal spray.

Scotland’s Respiratory Syncytial Virus RSV vaccination program is set to begin this August. RSV is a highly infectious virus that affects the breathing system.
The vaccine will be offered to adults over 75 and pregnant women after 28 weeks.
