We’d like to think that here in the UK, that and actually stand for something; that they really do represent ‘high animal welfare’

These labels are stamped on their respective meat products and without actually seeing any evidence of this ‘high welfare’ consumers buy these products thinking these animals are treated with some degree of care before the only thing they value is taken from them.

We also like to believe that these are just one of cases and not all farm are like this. It’s just ‘one bad egg’…..unfortunately that is also not the case.

Truth be told, RSCPA really means nothing at all. When there is a demand for something, in this case chickens, which are one of the most popular animals eaten in the UK, there is no room for ‘high welfare’ standards. Workers are on the clock to get these chickens processed.

🚨BREAKING: Workers at farms that supply major supermarkets caught on camera abusing hens!

Our undercover investigation exposed the horrific cruelty inflicted on hens by "catcher gangs" employed by RSPCA
Assured catchers AD Harvey. The workers were filmed kicking, throwing, and hitting these innocent 18 month old birds.

This is unacceptable and illegal. Hens are sentient beings who deserve respect and compassion, not violence and suffering.

We demand that RSPCA Assured "permanently" drop AD Harvey.

Let’s face it when there’s for animals’ skin, flesh and secretions, workers don’t exactly have time to give animals messages and belly rubs when they have thousands of animals which need to be processed on a daily basis.

So I’m what manner do we think animals are treated when can sense that something isn’t right and don’t fall in line because well…they want to live? Workers don’t have time to gently guide these animals to their deaths.

And this is the footage you’ll only get to see through undercover investigations and exposés, because let’s be honest, if the animal agriculture industry was honest about how they treated animals…they wouldn’t exist

Compassion: showing pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.

Benevolence: the quality of being well meaning; .

: the killing of animals for food.

Now keeping in mind ALL animals have the desire to live their lives and not have it cut short by human or other external influences. If an animal was at the end of its life suffering from a condition causing it pain then yes, maybe the compassionate thing to do is to euthanise them.

But how do we show pity or concern to animals for the suffering we intentionally cause them, when we slaughter them to eat, wear or use in any other other form?

How do you show an animal kindness when your intention is to kill them and they don’t want to die?

In most cases we just throw this term around to make ourselves feel better for paying for something we’re exactly against.

If we think about it, humane slaughter is actually an : a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction.

Because if we disagree with killing a dog or cat intentionally and compassionately then we should also disagree that , , and marine life cannot also killed kindly, on purpose.
